Disassembling a Grain Bin

Our first video on Blue Collar Day is all about taking down a grain bin to re-purpose for a pool house. We've taken down some others as well which will be made into a gazebo and concession stand for an arena in our later videos.

My understanding is once you get the roof off you can run straps around a small bin, like this, and take out a vertical run of bolts. Then draw the straps in and curl the bin onto itself. Tip it over and load onto trailer. Good to go! Have you ever tried it?

Super duper man. I bought one recently and had yet to take it down. Done a few pole barns and was excited to take this on. But everyone was leading me in the wrong direction on how to take it down. Glad to see this video. What were the preferred tools? I saw a good impact drill with socket driver. But what was on the back side ? Was it a crescent.
