Potions and such should only be for heroes in my personal opinion. I pretty much support all RTS games and was very excited for this one. However I find the potion mechanic on standard infantry silly and not something I want in a game like this one. I've stopped playing for now but if that mechanic is removed I will happily return and support the game in the future.

I noticed many people dislike the pot mechanic in STEAM forums. I am one of them. I am glad he reverted the arrow cost on shooting arrows, that was just as bad if you ask me.
I tried this demo out, no high expectations. I was blown away by how fun it was. I don’t care too much for the potions or the voice lines but it’s still so much fun

After trying the game, it seems the creator took a lot of inspiration from Warcraft 2. Paladins have a heal ability in WC2, which might be why cavaliers have it as well in this game.
That was pretty cool. The lack of walls can really be felt how the units keep wandering in your base while you had towers. Also a ping system would be pretty useful to coordinate attacks or warn of something. It's true that there is quite a problem with the types of units available. The mortar being an artillery was a super good idea. But having mages raining big devastative spells as in warcraft 1 would be useful. I'm not too sure about the potion system, it should be useable only outside of combat and have auto-heal units like priest or paladins healing in a moderate fashion. The is really heading in the right direction though. Pretty amazing.

Played mostly humans, really loved the demo - got 89h in it. the potion is the most annoying thing. it needs to have a cooldown. second most annoying thing is ai giving up too early. / easy. looking forward to even more from this!

This game has so much potential because of it's feel! However, i really don't see it going anywhere as it seems like the developer(s) has a really low skill level and has no clue what he should be doing with the game's micro mechanics.

Tried the demo its quite fun the AI is sth you gotta get used to I think matter fact we gotta get used to AI in all games in the near future. kinda cool to see my soldiers just roaming around clearing enemies.

I must say that they are putting great care into the development, this title could be a real rare gem of the genre. You can tell they are putting care and detail into it and that they know how to listen to the alpha and beta testers. The only thing that worries me is the perhaps excessive similarity with Warcraft, which is not in itself a bad thing, but you know that in the gaming world, plagiarism lawsuits are rife. Even the ‘sounds’ and ‘noises’ are perhaps too similar. The game is very nice and works, but perhaps they should break away a little more for safety's sake. Unless they have arrangements unknown to us. It would be a shame for a young company like Orc Group to have this kind of problem. I don't know anything about copyright or possible plagiarism attempts, so maybe my fear is unfounded, but you never know these days. Yeah....i been playing this nonstop. Seen WC and SC Have to need Bliznet. THIS is the THAT Backscratch that was NEEDED A LONGGGGGGGG TIME AGO. As for Potions. I wonder if you put those potion on a timer AT THE FARM. WHY.....Why must potion be ONLY at the HQ per 100 gold. You would thing The barracks would have some. IF the game is mod-able. I make the farm make gold and potion. If ask 5 gold for "tick" and make potion regen over time by how many worker work at the farm. Archer. 5 per archer too much. Seen it BOTH Attack and Defence needed to keep creep from killing the farm workers. But I mostly do a combo of Melee with archer back-up. with a few horse knights farming gold at night. And XP for the unit seen there level to the unit. 1 can only beat 1 if it a archer need shield upgrade. 1 cant beat LV 2 or 3 without focus attack at that unit.....But that LV 2-3 will have back-up....

Needs stronger team colors. The colors are too bland, it's hard to see. Or if not, let the unit health bar be team color. Since a universal green is hard to distinguish from units when they clash
Hi, there is no exact info besides the developer saying they don't have the capacity to run a live service based on a free to play model. So they are probably going to make it buy to play.

Also the Ai is too good with having pption with every unit i cant play offensive against them i always lose if i attack first

Ah yes, good point. I honestly don't remember much of WC2 specifics, it was such a long time ago, and I didn't want to touch the low effort remasters.

Pretty much this. Orcs and Humans didn't feel very different to me with the exception of knights and munchers. It really needs some diversity IMO.

I hope more types of undead foes get included like skeleton archers, undead horsemen, etc.

@ Ah got ya. But I think that if the creeps get undead archers to attack you at night it will get really difficult to PvP and defend.

a full blob of ogres under the effect of berserk are now basicly unstoppable - can only counter by a bigger blob of ogres with bloodlust
game is utter fun tho !

Hmm, you might be right. I mean I didn't have too much trouble seeing the difference in game, but I couldn't hurt to make them more unique
