This is a good question! Keep in mind all of the boxes were incorrectly labeled. The answer is this, the apple that you pulled out of the "apples and oranges" labeled box tells you that the only thing in the box is apples, which means that the box that is labeled "apples" must have oranges in them because if it had apples and oranges in it the the box labeled "oranges" would have been correctly labeled, however we already know that the label is incorrect, therefore there must be apples and oranges in the box labeled "oranges" and oranges in the box labeled "apples", and finally only apples in the box labeled "apples and oranges"- this we know because we pulled out of the wrongly labeled box and apple! the memory ones were WAY too easy... the king was a little folded, the pincils had small drawings on them, the siccors were right-handed, the springs were directed different sides... why not ask hard questions?
Tell me if this makes sense for the third logic question. I take one coin from each stack, bottom coin is from stack one, above it's from two, so on and so forth (or if allowed mark it 1, 2, 3...). Then I remove a coin one by one and it should decrease by the known coin's correct weight. I do this until the weight of the counterfeit is deducted. And there I found the counterfeit stack. I suppose, technically, you could argue that's not using the scale only once.
While i like the baby question, and its answer, there was an incident near where I live where a child fell from the top floor of a 12 story building and survived because of a bush and soft ground because of rain. Keeping air resistance in mind, the speed at this point doesn't really go up more so it is definitely possible to survive the fall.

Try this. Get a AA battery and a AAA battery. The AAA battery is half the weight of the AA, .41oz to .81oz respectively. So, not even a half an ounce difference. Think outside the fruit box.

The logic part is flawed, a lot of detectives don't work under parameters like that. However the last question of the logic test is actually quite genius.
For the third one you could just add stacks on the scale since you know much they weigh and when you find the one that doesn't add as much weight as the others boom you've found your stack (Stage 2)
I got 5 out of 5 for the observation test, but a 0 out of 3 for the logics test. I already figured I would utterly fail at the logics test, so it's okay.

the picture one was easy because I was focused on remembering every detail. If it was just me casually looking at it I would have remembered nothing except for maybe the batteries and the scissors
the first person was probably suffering from anxiety. as, the bottoms of the pencils were bitten or the rubber been taken out, and the cards were also bent meaning they misplaced them or were just rough, also the knight at the top right, the axe was bent in some way meaning he plays with that axe to possibly sit still while trying to find something else to do like pick off the rubber of the pencils.
I got 5, so I'm good with that! Would have gotten 6 with the baby one, but I didn't realise until afterwards that yes you said it states that the baby fell from a window, but from which floor was never specified and so it was a matter of using common sense in all reality. Very clever, I enjoyed this!

This is a good question! Keep in mind all of the boxes were incorrectly labeled. The answer is this, the apple that you pulled out of the "apples and oranges" labeled box tells you that the only thing in the box is apples, which means that the box that is labeled "apples" must have oranges in them because if it had apples and oranges in it the the box labeled "oranges" would have been correctly labeled, however we already know that the label is incorrect, therefore there must be apples and oranges in the box labeled "oranges" and oranges in the box labeled "apples", and finally only apples in the box labeled "apples and oranges"- this we know because we pulled out of the wrongly labeled box and apple! For the second logic question, my answer was to feel each fruit without taking it out of the box. Apples and orages feel differently, so even without looking you would have been able to correctly label each

The last one could have been easier though. If you continuously put stacks of ten coins on it should add the exact same amount of weight unless there was a counterfeit one. Whatever adds slightly less has the counterfeit.

Babies have a little more flex, and it really depends on the baby and the way they fall, and what they land on, nit just on how far they fall. Anyone can trip and fall and it could kill them, with the right conditions. There are several possible answers for the baby question.

Question 2's answer is given incorrect. If i get n apple from the 'apples and oranges' box, then yes that shud contain apples only but after that i cannot just simply change the 'apple' labelled box to 'oranges' coz it may also contain both apples n oranges. Think sherlock! 😉
But the "apple" labeled box can't possibly contain contain both apples and oranges, because that would mean that the "oranges" labelled box must contain oranges. Remember, all the boxes are labeled incorrectly, so the "oranges" box cannot contain oranges.

The apple and orange quiz: just look inside the boxes. It didn't say you couldn't look! I got 4 correct, but in my defense the batteries looked like plastic reed holders.
The baby one: it didn't say the baby was alive! Survived could simply mean it wasn't hurt during the fall!
the memory ones were WAY too easy... the king was a little folded, the pincils had small drawings on them, the siccors were right-handed, the springs were directed different sides... why not ask hard questions?
Tell me if this makes sense for the third logic question. I take one coin from each stack, bottom coin is from stack one, above it's from two, so on and so forth (or if allowed mark it 1, 2, 3...). Then I remove a coin one by one and it should decrease by the known coin's correct weight. I do this until the weight of the counterfeit is deducted. And there I found the counterfeit stack. I suppose, technically, you could argue that's not using the scale only once.
I got all 5 points for observation and the first one for logic. This proves i'm better with my eyes than my brain
While i like the baby question, and its answer, there was an incident near where I live where a child fell from the top floor of a 12 story building and survived because of a bush and soft ground because of rain. Keeping air resistance in mind, the speed at this point doesn't really go up more so it is definitely possible to survive the fall.
Most of Sherlock's deductions are actually based on accurate guesses, given what he believes is the most probable. Like, there is coffee on your sleeve. You had coffee today, instead of assuming that someone had coffee yesterday and put on the same clothing. It's all intelligent guesses that happen to be correct, because it's a fictional television show. Sherlock's deductions aren't much like this. He speculates and happens to be correct. Not always, but most times.
The truth is I’m more of an observer than a logical person
First question: It was a baby bird. Luckily, in my version, it was just old enough to be able to fly.
Second question: Smell the boxes. The ones with the stronger odor are the non-mixed boxes.
Third question: You can do it without using the scale at all. You're talking a difference in weight of an ounce. Pick them up and compare the stacks. Don't think you can feel the weight difference? Try this. Get a AA battery and a AAA battery. The AAA battery is half the weight of the AA, .41oz to .81oz respectively. So, not even a half an ounce difference.
Think outside the fruit box.
-I take a fruit.
-I smell the fruit.
-If an apple smells like an orange or an orange smells like an apple then it is from the A&O box.
-Then the box called apples is O box and the box called oranges is A box.
-If an apple smells normally then it is from the A box.
-Then the box called A&O is orange box and the box called oranges is the A&O box.
That's how it's done!

For the baby falling out the window question, my answer was that it said the baby was falling but it didn't say that it was landing on the ground at the bottom, so maybe there was something to break its fall earlier

The logic part is flawed, a lot of detectives don't work under parameters like that. However the last question of the logic test is actually quite genius.
For that one with the baby, I was thinking of one of those things that the firemen use to catch the baby

I answered all of them right. They were super easy. Sherlock would have thought this was baby stuff.
For the third one you could just add stacks on the scale since you know much they weigh and when you find the one that doesn't add as much weight as the others boom you've found your stack (Stage 2)
For that apples and oranges questions I thought you could just feel them in the box instead of taking them out lol

the picture one was easy because I was focused on remembering every detail. If it was just me casually looking at it I would have remembered nothing except for maybe the batteries and the scissors

the first person was probably suffering from anxiety. as, the bottoms of the pencils were bitten or the rubber been taken out, and the cards were also bent meaning they misplaced them or were just rough, also the knight at the top right, the axe was bent in some way meaning he plays with that axe to possibly sit still while trying to find something else to do like pick off the rubber of the pencils.
I got 5, so I'm good with that! Would have gotten 6 with the baby one, but I didn't realise until afterwards that yes you said it states that the baby fell from a window, but from which floor was never specified and so it was a matter of using common sense in all reality. Very clever, I enjoyed this!
