    1)Talk through a conclusion with a trusted person
    Nothing clears up a case more than stating it to another person .
    2)Travel
    Travel is a key tip to expanding your mind and seeing things in a different way.
    3) observations
    Notice small details in life
    4) Gather information from different sources .
    Be open to information to all sources of information.
    5)become a better listener
    Ask questions
    Observe body language
    6)logic over emotion
    It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data, insensibly one begins to twist facts to set theories instead of theories to suit facts
    6) mind palace techniques

      Marcin M. Nothing wrong with Watson. Everyone forgets, he makes some decent deductions in the books.

    I like it, very good crash course on how to get started thinking like Sherlock Holmes, I'll have to read your book sir, and if you don't mind I'll most likely do a review of it on my channel after I've read it, I do videos on how to practice deduction and think like Sherlock Holmes almost exclusively, and occasionally I'll do a review on a book that is pertinent to that.

    i want to ask you a question but please i want a quick answer ..
    when you memorize something in the mind palace technique then what you should do about this data or this information and what about the other informations that you are going to memorize please i need an answer or a video about it

    • @krzysztoftwardokes1541
      @krzysztoftwardokes1541 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mohamed Medhat I know it has been 4 months but I wanted to help if you still want the answer. If you practise this technique a lot then you keep "building" your mind palace and therefore you have more slots to fill in with data. When you already have some info memorised (If asked about it it must be obvious for you) then you can use those slots for other data

    I especially liked your suggestion about going to gossip columns and such for researching human behavior. I enjoy writing fiction, and I think that technique might help me with character development.
    Also, I clicked the link and bought the book. I've read several thinking-like-Holmes books and am eager to start this one. I have enjoyed your memory videos and books. It will be interesting to see your take on the Holmes school of thought, especially since you are one of the few who actually display some of this fictional super hero's talents.

    i think that anyone cant be like sherlock holmes because...i think that sherlock was so clever because he had syndrom asperger(sorry if my english are not so good)
    in one of his episodes he said: im a high functioning sociopath.

    • @krzysztoftwardokes1541
      @krzysztoftwardokes1541 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exitus Gaming He actually said that many times in the series. Watson said Sherlock has Asperger syndrome in the episode with the hound. His brain works differently indeed, but you can see that he has put thousands of hours to get to the genius level of knowledge and reasoning skills which he already had when he was studying chemistry on the university. Asperger doesn't make you more inteligent, hard work does

    • @TetraSamurai
      @TetraSamurai 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Krzysiek Twardokes hard work doesn't make you intelligent either, genetics do. You're confusing intelligence with knowledge. Sherlocks actual genius intellect he was born with. It's not a result of aspergers or sociopathy, it's just good luck. Mycroft and eurus has this intellect too, so it isn't a result of hard work.

    • @krzysztoftwardokes1541
      @krzysztoftwardokes1541 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      BaldManLogan Obviously hard work can make you more intelligent, not by fucking 60 points but a few. It is possible and has been proved. Yes, you are born with intellect but hard work can improve it by few points. If I think about it, Sherlock wasn't that much of a genius, he had Asperger (which as you stated doesn't make people more intelligent) and huge knowledge thanks to his mind palace. It might be a stupid argument to bring up,(if we are talking about bbc) but Benedict said that Sherlock reached that level more because of his hard work than intelligence. I might have mixed up some shit, I am sleepy af

    Hope you are doing well!
    I registered for your Sherlock Holmes Mind Palace course yesterday. I got a link to access the course. But I'm unable to play any of the five videos I'm seeing on my dashboard.
    Kindly share an email id to which I can send a detailed report the problem and get it fixed.
    Thanks,

    Why do so many people want to think like a fictional character? Im sure if he was real he would of been on some sort of medication. For his ocd and im sure he would have a.s.d. So which sherlock Holmes are you talking about. The books, the movies the tv show. or just a generalized interpretation of The character. By the this is not to belittle the great videos you put out or your accomplishments. You just seem to refering to Sherlock Holmes as a real person.
