O’siyo Ottawalks…so glad you’re having a change of scenery. Does a mind good. Amazing house boats. Never seen anything like it! LUV all the Bodies of Water & the lights are Amazing. Brewery & Fish Market looked Wonderful! Aqua Buses are really Kewl! I’d travel that way all the time if possible, lol. Bummed I didn’t get my Notification you were Live Streaming but so glad I was able to watch it on Replay.

Hello Mike Ottawalks, writing from Iowa.
My #1 recommendation for Vancouver is to visit Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver. Nice easy trails, trees are spectacular, great suspension bridge. Plus is free compared to Capilano which costs $$.
so amazing to see you out and about again, and to hear you chat away there.... seems like you're feeling way more comfortable now, jabbering away at 'nobody in particular'.... and Vancouver also looks like a nice city {saving up for a trip across Canada} - enjoy your trip!! 💕

Check out Chinatown or what's left of it.
And maybe the shipyards in northvan the hotel there is not to expensive. Lots of stuff. Also the different mountain look outs. They are all easy to get to on a bus. Vancouver has so much to do.

Hi Mike Ottawalks! What a surprise to see you're in Vancouver. I live along the coast, SW of our capital in WA state. What a change in weather here on the west coast compared to the cold of Ottawa. You have a great job. In my younger years that's what I wanted to do. Instead I ended up in the good ole boys world of aerospace mfg, being the token female in quality control.
Sorry live in salmon arm but used to live in burnaby for a few years loved walking to store in sandles at christmas one year enjoy

This brings back memories! I visit my family in BC..and the only place Id go to when going into Van is Grandville island, get off science center from sky train and take water taxi into Grandville...there used to be a train museum there, the kids were small, they are grown up now. Go to the market and eat....thanks for the trail back to memory lane. 🤧😢

@@strouty If I lived in Canada I wouldn't be able to fly or take a train without the jab pass. I actually live in the states and even though I'm a citizen they have the right to deny access to her place and force me into a hotel at my own cost for 2 week quarantine. As she's a senior and also not complying this is a distinct possibility. They've made it as difficult as possible for anyone not submitting to the pressure.

Thanks for taking me back to my second home. I have lived there from 1995 to 2006. Now back in Germany! Make sure to go to Kitsilano Beach - my favorite hangout. Beautiful vista of the open bay, the mountains, the skyline of Vancouver. Very peaceful there too. At all seasons....

Mike!! You're in my old hood. Spent almost my entire life in Vancouver. Viva Frei's chat advised David durimg his interview with Tom Marazzo. My father was the civil engineer for Granville Island. I worked few years in their Welcome Center.

Mike, can you pretty please walk in the Stanley Park forest and sea wall. I was living in Chilliwack when one mother of a storm knocked out a great deal of the old-growth iconic trees.
I used to jog in those forests real early almost every morning.
Very smart of you to get out of town and film. You need the break and it also highlights that you film other areas. I pray this takes you where YOU want it to go.
