Solid video man. Great info. I now feel more confident in getting my coolant flush done.🔥

Just got a 2016 as my first car. It's got orange coolant and i want to try to change it myself. Videos like this give me the confidence. Seems simple enough, but I don't have coolant to spend like this. Could I just drain it once and add the new yellow? Then do the bleeding process?
I'm also paranoid about air pockets that can become trapped during a coolant flush and cause the engine to overheat apparently. How's the car holding up?

    So
    1 empty coolant
2 put coolant/turn on engine to let the new coolant mix with the old coolant still in the engine.
3 drain coolant again when the engine cooled down......repeat the process.

Kool-aid 😆 , definitely get rid of that 2-eha coolant. Peak asian or zerex or peak heavy duty from walmart is best. I know all to well

I've used Peak previously, not a bad product. However, I prefer Motorcraft yellow coolant since the engineers recommend it for the ST platform. They should know best in regards to the chemical composition that work effectively for these motors

@BonafideKonaST i definitely wouldn't agree with what they know best for anything other than what helps them. 2-eha destroys rubber and silicone over time its a inhibitor, i believe they went from the dex cool orange to yellow because of this most likely but either way whatever the ford engineers recommend doesn't always make it right, thats like saying motorcraft filters are good too! They have a 80% efficiency of 30 microns or more thats horrible. Mobil 1 is 99% at 30 microns which is better but not great, amsoil is 99% at 20 microns along with all filters fram ultra and the endurance which is 99% at 20 microns, im actually using the fram endurance for my built 2.3 i just did for capturing my break in oil fragments since its cheap at Walmart and can filter the best otherwise i typically run the m1-209a or m1-301a
