I own JAWA 42 and with my personal experience, this is the most powerful bike in its segment, the presence and the control is phenomenal. You can beat any bike if you know how to ride. The gear shifting is in the sportier end so dont expect much if you are looking for a cruiser experience! This bike lives up to expectations and I'm absolutely loving it!
I'm confused between jawa 42 and meteor 350. I live in Nepal and the bikes are costly here. Jawa 42 2.1 costs around 7.58 lakhs here with bs6 in it while meteor 350 doesn't provide bs6 so it has cut down its price and it's 5.6 lakhs here. Tbh , initially my first preference was Jaaa 42 and I still like Jawa but maybe I have to go for Meteor 350 after overall thinking from its price to its parts and accessories availability. Also I don't like that Jawa doesn't provide us seat back rest and good leg guards. So I think even if I buy Jawa 42, I have to put them on extra which is honestly annoying.
Did 450 km on jaws with 1lunvh break....of road on road hills n everything included...it roars more as it heat more...loving day by day more... 7800km till now no problem only battery changed on warrenty.
I own a jawa 42 21. The only problem with this bike is it needs upshifts very quickly. Jawa's power is phenomenal. In 2.1 they even improved the ground clearance it is more than 170mm . Weight is 172 kg almost 20 kg lighter compared to meteor so it is very easy to ride in city. The suspension is stiff so you will feel bumps.
Bhai quick gear shifts mein hi to acceleration ka swaad ata hai. I prefer the thrill of revving the engine over riding on low rpm any day. I am someone who swoons over sports bikes but also like retro looks, Java 42 is perhaps the only retro looking bike under 3 lakhs someone like me can digest. Rest are very very sluggish.
Jawa has a short stroke engine also because of higher power it has a very short gearing ratio so as soon as speed is decreased even 5-10% you have to down shift this makesbit difficult to ride in City and becomes frustrating some times also if you want to ride slow that is not at all possible because you will keep on changing gears
I have heard that Jawa has a lot of quality issues like injector problems, starting problems, etc. Is this true? If not then what is the reason for its low popularity? Because in my city there is only one Jawa bike customer.
So true... Initially i wasnt aware of this... n my bike used to stall while i suddenly decelerate without downshifting... But now i self learned to deal wid it... Its actually a very youthful bike... Which gives you immense power, easy manoeuvrability, terrific looks n youthful optics... All those uncles who crib about comfort, service, refinement etc sud luk at other options😃
Jawa seriously needs to upgrade it's meter console like Royal Enfield did and doing for next gen classic. It's complete turnoff And also work on ground clearance and tyres size
The comfort you will get in Meteor cannot be offered by any other bike in this segment...I am saying this on my personal experience and I purchased Meteor after test ride of all these bikes ....Jawa 2.0 , Perak , Meteor and Honda CB350

I have no idea why people say jawa is better than meteor. I bought a new jawa 42 last year and sold it buy meteor. There is no fun and comfort to ride jawa at all. Sitting on the pillion seats are a nightmare. Engine sounds are much louder than the exhaust note on jawa. Onde i test drive the meteor i really loved the comfy drive and the sweet exhaust note of RE ❤. Cant wait to get the My RE delivered. ❤️ But one thing i agree, that no other bike can match the looks of Jawa 42 2.1. That is just phenomenal. Everyone on the road will stare at your bike
Maybe it's a personal preference of each person. Some like thrill ridings while some like a comfy ridings. So that's why their opinion differs. After hearing everyone's perceptions, I think Meteor provides more comfort and easy going trips while Jawa gives that thrills and adventures. It's upto what a rider wants in a bike or a ride. So it's better to know what you want in a bike and ride and go for it accordingly.

I like everything about Jawa, it's design, black matter finish, bike shape, and I've heard about it's superb power and pick ups. But I don't like that it doesn't provide the seat back rest and good protective leg guard. Here, In Nepal, it's pricey and costs nearly 6.5 to 7.58 lakhs with bs6 whereas RE meteor 350 doesn't provide bs6 and its price is downed, costs 5.5 lakhs. What I love about RE is that it's famous here and easy to get accessories and parts ig. And also, it provides seat backrest except for fireball Variants and has good leg guards. It makes us customers easy, we don't need to put extra money to get them. I rather thought of going for meteor 350 though I like Jawa also. But it's too pricey here. Let's see, I'll know once I really go into showroom and check everything there.
Don't down the image of jawa is almost cruiser bike its retro looks is very nice we can't forget it so easy.its plus point is their light weight and easy to drive either city or rural areas doesn't matter to its ground clearance if go with retro legendary classic bike no problem faced its features are so convenient. We can't ignore it so easily liquid cooling is amazing overall we can say it is perfect bike for everyone I am fan of this bike I don't like of misleading of jawa bike I will prefer this bike till end. It very good for touring. We say both as long and short journey bikes I can never tolerate bad appearance.

i am a JAWA 42 owner , just got it last year only. Honestly speaking this bike is nice to ride but when compared with Royan enfield mateor it lacks in everything.

What would you recommend? I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing,which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer? There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier. Please let me know Or should I just go with Honda Hiness
Boodmo does not provide figo 2019 parts. I ordered tail lamp cover of ford figo 2019 and they delivered aspires tail light to me. Ford Figo and Ford Aspire are the same vehicle for them.

For 6 feet+ height people… Meteor is good and comfortable as compared to Jawa…. 🏍 Though Meteor may be heavier than Jawa to manoeuvre.. but in a period of time ul get adapted to it.
Bhai meteor is awesome,, I ride continuously for 100 km in a strech but never feel like taking rest. I am 80 kg and 40 years old.. With spine problem
