If Miyagi was alive, Daniel wouldn't have done half the stuff he did to escalate his rivalry with Johnny, Johnny would have realized Kreese was a snake sooner and would have put a stop to him while he still had a chance, and Robby would actually have a sensei who could help him find balance, and the show as we know it would cease to exist. Miyagi solves it all basically.
To tell you the truth, I think Kreese would've returned no matter what, because if Cobra Kai lost, Kreese would try to bring back his Dojo to it's former glory and it would give Kreese a better motivation for his personal gain.

I’m sure that Miyagi only joined the army to prove that’s patriotic, hoping to leave the camp with his wife, and not be labeled an enemy because he’s Japanese during WW2 war time. Also maybe not lose a child and wife from stillborn birth. Making him be a tragic character. And also wouldn’t Sato have to be ten years younger as well. It affects the whole franchise if the mentor figures become ten years younger than in the original timeline.

Not a sport. So yeah it would have been a lot different, because the events in season 1 wouldn’t have led to a fight with Robbie and Miguel, Robbie wouldn’t have even known about Daniel. Therefore he would have never been trained by him. Would be looking at Sam somehow having to become the one being bullied or Daniels son. Everything that Daniel has done Miyagi would have been drastically opposed to. From using Karate as a way of selling cars, to all of it. In essence there would be no Cobea Kai series.
