I worked with a very large woman (like pushing 450 pounds) that could not figure out why she wasnt losing weight. For lunch she would have a Lean Cuisine. BUT also a 2 liter of regular pop and large bag of chips. She was complaining one day that she should be dropping weight like crazy cause her lunch was only 500 calories. When I pointed out there was about 800 empty calories in the pop and about 1400 in the bag of chips she ate with the 500 calorie Lean Cuisine, she told me to mind my own business. 😂
For calories you should over estimate how much you are eating and underestimate how much you are burning with exercise.

It’s hilarious how they cant seem to grasp the simple concept of calories in vs calories out. I understood that since elementary school. A lot of these people claim to be very knowledgeable on biology but at the same time are woefully unaware of how it works in even the most simplistic of ways.

@@FrostalteredI had a calorie deficit and was only eating 800-1000 daily. I ended up having pcos and having insulin resistance and needing medical assistance to lose weight. My testosterone levels are still pretty high but before meditation they were in the 200’s and my gyno was shocked I don’t have uterine cancer even though I’m just 18. I do agree that a lot of fat people do have this issue but it’s not all of us. Some of us eat barely anything but are having other issues.

@HaileyGraceL the family size bag has about 11 servings and can be anywhere from 160-185 calories per serving depending on the flavor of chip. She would eat the whole bag which was usually 11-12oz of chips

I'm a dad, and grandfather and having kids should be a reason to be as fit as possible. I went from fat to extremely fit BECAUSE I wanted to be here as long as possible for them and also if they needed me in some emergency situation, I would be able to help them in whatever way needed

@@4everhealthwellness344 Dude, yes, this! My husband is 43 and in the best shape of his life now. His firstborn is 14 and we have a baby on the way, and with our age gap (I'm 31, so not the biggest age gap but 12 years is still pretty substantial), I've told him he'd better be as healthy as possible because I would like him to be around for a long time. He takes the responsibility seriously. IMO, the simplest way for a man to show he is worthy of respect is to develop discipline. Tiktok is already full of lazy, whining, undisciplined women. If your man (not yours, the collective "yours") wants their mate *morbidly* obese they are probably a sociopath. But I agree in part...my man hated and teased me when I was "skeletor" (Ana tendencies when I feel I have no control to outside stress) and likes me way better as a size 6/8 than he ever did when I was a 2) but that grollock or whatever...if you like that in a partner, you need a shrink bc that's getting off to someone slowly deleting them self from this game we call living

I also know friends that mentioned hurting themselves as nurses lifting overweight patients. What I’m getting at is, your not just hurting yourself, your going to end up hurting others that will eventually take care of you or if you ever go to the hospital. I don’t wish ill on anyone. I spent most of my adult life 40-50 pounds overweight (~20+ kg). I know I was like that because I was depressed, had lost interest in taking care of myself, and was wearing my weight like it was armor. Last year, it hit I was going to be 49, I was having too many injuries and getting weaker, and was basically on my own.
So last May I started doing daily sets of push-ups, crunches, and taking hikes on my place while cutting back on sugary/highly processed food. It helped, lost 15 pounds, got stronger and felt better, but it wasn't enough. So I started doing exercise routines in November five times a week with two days for rest/recovery. Haven't lost much more weight because winter keeps me in the house most of the time, but I have lost another 10, and I have a visible transformation to my body. Now summer is coming, and I can get out more, and hopefully be able to reach my goal of hovering between a US women's size 8-10 (currently between 10-12, was 12-14). No extreme diets or exercise, just eating less and getting off my butt more.

To be honest, I think any restrictive diet is basically bad.
Not so much that what you eat is bad but it is highly relient on being able not to stay the weight after you get to your target.
It is also very very difficult for people in general to just change their lifestyle from 1 moment to another. Especially for people that have been to heavy for a long time or have not been in a healthy lifestyle for a long while.
I am not 'fat' myself but working on losing weight. I use mostly the thought of "just eat less carbs and don't over eat".
This I combine with Intermittend fasting from 22:00 to 14:00. Notice I said 'less carbs' I still eat normal.
Think a bar of chocolate or some chips or a snacks. But I don't eat it that much and after snacking I keep going back to my normal plan.
I don't have any sugary things I put on my bread in the closets. just a strawberry jam every once a week or so. The rest is meat or chees.
I went from 111kg to 104.7 since January.
Slowly scraping off the kilo's Which is a good thing as losing weight to fast will give issues as well.
But i believe just changing small things like just don't buy all the sugary things you used to and, for me, walking the dogs a bit longer then I used to, all helps to get your body in better shape.
Not deprevating you from any and all joy just to lose weight. It will just get it back on as soon as you hit your target.

My mother was over 400 lbs fast approaching 500 when she came to live with me. I put her on a dirty keto diet with intermittent fasting. In 4 months she had dropped down to near 200 lbs when she left (and I had found the hidden pizza boxes she had stuffed under and behind the couch). Her only exercise was when she would go to the supermarket and I wouldn’t allow her to use the scooty puff to get around and made her walk (she hates walking). By the time she left she would out speed walk me into the store. Several of her medical conditions went away when her weight came off and she even admitted to feeling better. Many people even told her that she looked better too. She enjoyed being thinner and less heavy.
Of course she gained all the weight back and more after she left and putting her back onto a diet is like putting a cat into water. The females (except for one) have fat logic, blame others or genetics for their weight, thin shame me, my dad, and the one skinny niece, and tell us we need to gain weight because we’re too skinny all in an attempt to make themselves feel better. Some people don’t want to be helped at all.

I really really hope you are lying, and I'm pretty sure you are. That's about 200 lbs in 4 months or 12 lbs a week. Which means a 6000 calorie deficit daily. So yeah, actually impossible without eating close to nothing and hours of cardio.
If this was possible or it took longer and less wieght was lost, anything more than 2 lbs a week of weight loss is unhealthy and will most likely result in weight regain, result in muscle loss reducing BMR, and other health problems.
When losing weight strive for 1 to 2 lbs a week. It akes a while to get fat thus it will take a while to lose fat. Plus by taking it slow you make less drastic changes and you can slowly make healthier changes to your daily habits. It also means a less drastic change to meal plans when you reach goal weight and move to maintenance.
Hate to break it to you but you are to blame for your mother gaining even more weight via yoyo dieting, by treating your mother's weight loss like she's getting stage ready for Mr Olympia. If you ever want someone you care about, or even yourself, to lose weight always start with small changes and keep building on those small changes. It's basic human psychology and sets them and yourself up for success and not failure like your extreme boot camp "diet".
Also keto was meant for people with autoimmune disorders and shouldn't be a diet someone should be placed on unless it works for them.

Not to mention the strain of such a calorie deficit on vital organs ... now very obese people can loose up to 7 lbs a week BECAUSE a simple reduction from say 5,000 calories to 4,000 calories a day would result in quick weight loss. but really any more then that in the span of a week is really scary and for someone who is diabetic for example it breaks up latent sugars in their fat cells and can cause them to go in to shock. like so many bad things can happen if you do not loose weight in a slow steady and healthy weight. it really is scary. like be healthy but yeah like you said too fast is a fast track to OTHER health problems :( @@critikalshark0994

I think if they come out with wider chairs on planes, I suddenly identify as fat.

Watching this reminds me why I started to go to the gym, I’m in the danger zone to get health problems and I find myself ugly. Since going to the gym I’m feeling much better, I still hate my body but I know I will eventually love it.

Are we playing the “take a shot for every time they say fat phobic or plus sized people” game if they do??? If that’s the case, I’ll probably be plastered by the end of the video 😆😆😆
