I’m currently in my warm bed watching your video on this fine Saturday morning, trying to figure out what to wear when I head out to fish today. It’s a brisk cold day in Idaho. Thanks for the tips.
Awesome tips! Toe socks can be a nuisance but also add some moisture wicking for longer days or sweaty feet. Thanks for sharing your technique! Cheers!
My buddy and I went out yesterday while it was dumping here in Northern California. Before we left I had to show him a sweet vintage Boron/Graphite Orvis Powerflex I was gifted.. Anyways I forgot my jacket and still fished for a few hours haha. Glad I had wool base layers on..
Good tips bro ! Unfortunately for me I do mostly walking when I fish... So I have to underdress because if I'm warm when I get out of the truck I'll be sweating all day on the water and that's not good 🤣🤣🤣
They are very effective - the key is to have your thermal shirt, then the heated vest and then a top layer. Lasts a solid 6-7 hours. Here is a link to the one I bought: amzn.to/3tJC2Bb
FFD it was between 19 and 28 today and I did NOT go fishing. I use the exact strategy as you for the feet, but they are always the thing that has me end the day. Yeah, the ice cold water doesn't help but I have often wondered if electric socks are the way to go. On a more positive note, RL Winston just returned my winter nymphing rod and I can't wait to get back out on the water with it - FISH ON
Woooooow, hry Dan, you're not put off the cold winter weather, but you're more than equipped for it.👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍 Fish on.🤠🤠🤠

Awesome - I'm headed out later today as well :))
Great video! My hands and ears are the things that get the coldest. If you cover your neck, you can stay warmer
Very true!

How effective is the hearing vest? Does it hold long enough and is it powerful enough?
