No, it's climbing in the video. Google an R35 speedo, when it gets to 9 o'clock you're already doing 110mph. Below 100 it's pointing down.

I know some of you people like to rag on someone for having a financed car to make yourself feel better but for people like Rob and other wealthy people who can get money for relatively cheap they will always finance the car. They can put the money they do have into something that’ll make more money than the loan is costing them.

When every other comment starts with “Mr Spaghetti....” GTR is a great car but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of them bagged. Not necessarily what I would do to such a performance car, likewise with a Liberty Walk kit but to each his own. GTR already has beautiful style from the factory and I wouldn’t want to cover it with an over aggressive kit to earn the attention from an 18-34 year old

Lapin glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. I love my v8 but I really have a hard time choosing the sound I like more between small blocks and inlines. Big blocks though are my favorite
The gtr sounds good for a v6. But there is no beating a flat 6 or inline 6

I think if they came out with a new Gtr that made 750hp to the wheels with 3200lbs of weight it would get Rob to buy one.
I like the fact the speedo didn't appear to be working. No worries about what you show on camera that way. It's not wise to post a video that clearly identifies you speeding or breaking another law. Good job protecting your interests, Rob.

The brz dig seems unfair; not sure I've met a more dialed in car even 20k above it. Should you throw 30k into it like shivam? No. But it's easily the ricer queen every kid wants to take to prom and the track 😝
It's the modern day miata in the sense that it piques the interest of the those who grew up on fast and the furious, where the miata piqued the interest of those who grew up drooling over British roadsters.

Rob, 18-34 years old demographics is a HUGE range. I think what you meant was the WOW factor with the car is not as appealing as an R34 and reason being you couldn’t walk into a Nissan dealer in the US and buy one. Sorta like a forbidden fruit.

I think that was a c350 elegance with some drain pipe sticking out from under the bumper where the exhausts were supposed to be.

Yea, that's my thoughts on the GTR too. Can't knock the specs, the specs think for themselves. Though I def. think it lacks soul and doesn't have that fun aspect. It's going to be much more fun to toss around an S2K in the back roads than that, even though the GTR will likely kick its ass, even in the tight stuff.

I got a chance to drive a R35 Black Edition. It really is a wonderful car. Easy to drive and extremely capable. The acceleration is seamless. Really an engineering marvel.
That being said it is fun but not necessarily a super raw and exciting car.
It would be an epic daily driver car.

That Mercedes sounded terrible because it wasn’t an AMG. It was some regular c class with the mufflers removed or fart can mufflers.
You ought to buy a Celica Supra. Cheap but rising in value with a good cool factor .
