Hi, I’m looking to purchase the Thinkware U1000 from your shop.
Scenario: I currently have the Thinkware F770 hardwired in my car, but I am intent on swapping it for the U1000.
Question: Does the U1000 and F770 have the same connection/ports. What I mean is can I get the U1000, undo the F770 cam only (front and rear) then use the existing hardwired connection to just hook up the U1000. More like plug and play.
    Thanks.

Great video, does the APP support other languages other than English? and it uses sim data only?

Heavily recommend the Thinkware line of cams, after using nothing but them. f770 2ch in my Mk6 for 6 years, even with being subjected to 160dB of bass at times, still working flawlessly and has been used for 2 insurance claims (both instances being caught on the rear camera) and made the process quicker to prove what happened.
F800 Pro in my Mk7 GTi for 2 years and was again flawless, and now have Q800 Pro in my R36. Unfortunately the latter main module has died after only 6 months or so of being installed in the car and has been sent off for repair/ replacement - but when it is in the car and working as intended, it has also worked perfectly and helped capture people lingering around the car while parked.
So even with the failure of the Q800 module, I still will opt to stay with the brand/ device, as performance and features are stellar and the parking mode has been a literal money/ worry saver when needing to use footage retained from parking mode, for my aforementioned insurance claims!
Plus the scrolling light bar on the front of the devices act as a good visual deterrent for anyone loitering around the vehicles at night!
