Running is and always had been a solo endeavor for me but your videos make the running community feel so warm, fun and exciting. Keep on doing what you're doing, it's inspiring.
Him being a gentlemen and running off to the side to throw that cup out was the difference, running is brutal. My official timed mile PR is 6:00.01, and that .01 drives me nuts even today.
So good...and the fact that there was an extra second makes this an even better story. "When you give it everything, seconds don't matter." I love this. Well done!
Great video! Hoping to go sub 90 minutes one day. One suggestion, it would be super helpful to see the splits per KM and Mile for USA watchers lol. Keep up the great content!!
Mannn I did 5th place at the marathon in Niagara Falls, that day I remember after the race I showed your post on Instagram and I couldn't believe that I didn't have the chance to cross you and say hi man, big fan of your work.
Awesome pacing!! I was pacing my wife to her first half marathon! Great flat course! Wish I had known you were in my neck of the woods! Would have been cool to meet you.
Brutal. Congrats to Mark for a great PR. It remembered of a race a few years ago, I had a 39m08s in 10k and I needed sub 39 to qualify to a nice race in Madrid, but at the same time I was happy that I had a PR in that distance
Yeah, those marginal misses can feel so arbitrary, but as long as you know you left it all out there, you can't be mad because you were basically there.
Hey man- ive been dealing with achilles tendonitis the past 8 months. Taking an extended rest from running is quite difficult as you would know. What did you find was the most important thing that got rid of you Achilles issues? :)

Way to capture the experience & push Mark to the finish man! One of the many reasons I love the running community, that encouragement!
Talk about epic: seeing y’all push to the finish was a sight to behold😤…True legends!

This race is a quick drive from my place. Missed it due to injury last year, would love to see you at it this year!

❤️🔥👊🏼
The colab I didn't know I needed
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I also missed my sub 1:40 by 1 second 2 months ago 😂 we tend to keep that quiet tho 😂 awesome work
Im going for sub 1:40 on March 3, already hit the time on my training two weeks ago but im scared I won’t hit it in race day 😂
Going sub 1:30 in april this year. I hope i can crush it too.
9 months ago i ran 2:05 🤣
Crazy how him slowing down to throw the cup away at 3:30 was what cost him a sub 90
Now that was a good run.
Great effort!

Which black bottle is Mark using during the Race and what was in it?
It would be Great to get an answer. 😊
Your mexican viewers appreciate the km splits 🙌
Well, this race was in Canada, so I felt like I needed to pay respect to the KMs hahaha
Beautiful to enjoy your videos without doing math in my head@@flobergruns
