Superb resto Bob, I had a couple of different variants of this as a kid and had forgotten all about them, so thanks for the memory blast. Now I have to add more to the ' I Want ' list, it's an illness you know ( hahaha). ' Top Job Fella'

Just bought 3 of these from ebay, as you do, then found out you had done this video on the strip down etc.....was I made up!!!!.....however, these have Jerry cans, demurage, and 2 guns....love the detailing on this one, colour scheme is good too. To save some dosh , going to make my own Jerry cans, demurage and guns .....again Bob another magic restoration...

Really nice job on the WWII Jeep. You made us Yanks proud.
Wheeler Dealers completed a restoration of a real Willis jeep. A rope, wrapped around on the front bumper and painting of axe and shovel would have been nice. However love the hand painting and it's originality to a US army brush work. I wonder if the screen on the window could have had Perspex or glass. Thanks for shout out.
Fantastic job bud! What cool model, I haven't seen one of those yet. I have some Dinkys that I swear are designed to never ever be taken apart. Built like brick ****houses!

Again Bob you have the same model as me, it's a great resto as always ,and yes the star on the bonnet is right , mine is the same,maybe we should get the two jeep's together and drive them along in convoy. Rob .
That restoration looked easy but it proved not, getting the replacement parts you must have large number of contacts 👍👍

Hi Bob, jeep looks great, I used to hand paint mine and cast some of the parts using the cold casting method, it used to smell terrible and my other half hated it.
awesome build bob although i'd have matched the dinky mid olive they seemed to use on most military subjects ( the darker green were usually german subjects ) but looks superb now

Great job on the Jeep. I never knew they were hand painted. I think the front bumper is bent on the ends. I have never seen one that was not straight.
I did one of these ,BUT ,I cut out a piece of clear plastic that you get in packaging for the wind screen
lovely job there Bob love watching your video's, i am guessing its still pretty hot over there i have me ma living in scotland she was saying its hot there at the moment, i said wish it was here its bloody cold here in australia at the moment
Are there any particular models that you want to do Bob? My grandad used to sell second hand toys many years ago and there are probably a few lying around in the many sheds in his garden

Brian Stothers Hi mate, you don’t miss a trick do you! 😄 Well I did paint them off camera but they were so thin on some bits that I cocked it up and thought why bother, so painted over em again 😉👍
If yoe use tweezers to put on stickers you can see better and seem to have more control where it goes.

I've been seeing those Dinky toys on EBay they go for all diffrent prices. They are pretty expensive. I'm here in the United States and the cost and shipping is not worth the toy. Not saying they are very cool looking I was very intrastead until the cost.
