Gold and silver coins were found in that area of Columbus. While dredging the river in the 1960s, a cache of coins was pumped onto the bank of the river. I have a friend who has a gold coin from the river bank.

I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos, I got my confidence to go scuba diving because of it and I couldn't have done it without these. You always make your videos so much fun and I love watching them.

Hey Jake and friends. I lost my wedding ring in Elvis Presley Lake in Tupelo MS. I have watched so many of your videos where you find the lost rings and it made me decide to reach out sooo if your ever down this way I would love for y’all to check out our local wake boarding/hang out lake. My husband and I have been together 12 years. We have 3 beautiful kiddos. That ring means so much to me. Happy hunting
There's really an Elvis Presley Lake?! Kewl! When I read your post, I remembered this video I watched in school about a gagillion years ago.... (I think it was even in black and c and white.) I forget the details of the story BUT - A woman goes into a donut shop for a donut and coffee and ends up having to help make donuts when the donut making machine goes haywire and makes WAAY too many donuts. After the chaos, she realizes that her engagement ring is missing. They figure that it must have fallen into the dough and must have ended up INSIDE A DONUT. So, in the window of the shop they post a sign that says something like, "$100 reward to the person who finds the Ring in the Donut!" --- Customers flood the place and start buying (and eating) donuts until the ring is found.... The donuts were sold.. The ring was found... Everyone was happy..... Could you have some sort of event at Elvis Lake one day? $200 reward to the person who finds the wedding ring at the bottom of Elvis Lake.... If one of your "kiddos" is a 'problem' you could offer them as a grand prize!!!

i,m surprised that he felt for it cause no chest like this kind laying down in the bottem of a river for almost 200 years would be in such a good shape . . it would have been greatly fragile and 3/4 decomposed not to mention that it would have been buried almost completly by sediments
