Juan, you der man! Been thinking about the Bassani RR2 megapower for my Softail. think you have swung it for me. Loved yr instal and comparison vids and yr attitude. Looks and sounds great on your Dyna. I usually do it all myself if I can and learned much like you have and really enjoy it (when it goes right!). Car gets done by anyone else!
Thanks Chris! I appreciate the kind words. It so much fun working on the bike and learning at the same time. If it helps, I also made a noise level comparison using a decibel meter, same exhaust. th-cam.com/video/kBTX7BNq7C8/w-d-xo.html
Good job !! you should make a bar install I just got my self a 17 fxdl and I’m having trouble I see that my headlight is mounted to the shield so there for I can remove my bars any tips or advise
Hey, sorry I'm reading this so late. I installed those bars myself, you have to get an adapter to change how the light attaches to the frame. Did you figure it out?
I just started this process on the same bike...I managed to take the heat shields off the stock exhaust but now I’m stuck due to the muffler clamp not budging. What size socket do I need to remove the flange nuts?
Awesome video man! Installing a Road Rage 3 on my Low Rider and this was very informative. Keep the vids coming! Also, what size risers are you using for your bars and what cables did you need to extend?
Thanks for the feedback man, I really appreciate it. I'm glad it helped. I got about 12" between the risers and the bar. 8" Big Al's Deluxe Risers with pullback and Bars are Lucky Dave's 3.5" rise with 2.5" pullback. I only needed to change 2 cables, front brake and clutch. Everything else OEM worked, including wires. That's another video on the works, did all the job myself, except those extra cables.
When you took it to the dealer for the 1k service, did they mention anything about the warranty being voided? Did they give you a hard time? I have 300 mi on my new bike and debating if I should do it after the 1k mi service. Great video!
Thanks for the feedback! They didn't mention anything about the warranty. Nothing at all. I even got prices from them and they didn't mention it there either.
Hey man, sorry it took so long to reply, this one slipped through the cracks. I'm not sure about the model number but I was able to pull the SKU #: 898353 Full name is Bassani Road Rage Mega Power Exhaust / Type: Megaphone w/Black Fluted End Cap. Hope that helps if it's not too late.
Tasty. Sounds great. Not over the top. Just right!
🤜🤛
Very good video! I like the idea with the "wire guide" for the O2 sensor. Well done!
Thanks!!! I appreciate the comment. To be fair, I stole that guide trick from someone help... happy to share though.
Fair enough! Whats your accent? Are you italian? Greetings from Germania.
@@Silberpfeil1971 I'm originally from Venezuela, and even though there is Italian in my blood there's none in my accent :)
Thank you for ACTUALLY posting an install video. Great information and detail in video. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.
My pleasure. I was looking for something like this when I installed mine but couldn't find it, so I figure I'll make one. Thanks for the feedback!

Great job..informative...and you are a funny guy. your accent reminds me of my favorite Moto GP racer...Valentino Rossi!
Valentino!!! wow, even if it's just the accent I take it as a compliment. What a legend that guy is. Thanks for the comment. I hope it helped.
Great vid helped me a lot, thanks!
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback
Sudamericano for sure, Chileno? But anyway lol in the 4 years youve had it any issues with the bassani?
haha, no Chileno, but close, Venezuela. I'm still loving the Bassani, no problems what so ever! workhorse.
@@JuanderBoy Thanks bro, un abrazo
Good video. Did you also do your own bars?
Thank you for the comment!... I did upgrade the bars: Big Al's deluxe risers with pullback and Lucky Dave's riser bar with pullback.

@@JuanderBoy yes thanks I had to buy a whole new headlight mount thanks !!
Great video...... thumbs up
Thanks for the feedback!

I'm not sure about the size, I was trying 1 at a time until 1 worked. You still need to take the stock muffler off?
JuanderBoy yes I couldn’t loosen the clamp that holds the muffler. I sprayed it with some penetrating lube. Hopefully it loosens up by tomorrow
@@lucerolindemann8510 Somehow I woke up this morning wondering is the spray worked. Did it?
JuanderBoy I haven’t had a chance to see...hopefully tonight I will! Wish me luck!
Any discoloration of comments on the Bassani exhaust after a year?
Nothing at all, it's holding up strong.
Good to know. I am going to purchase for my 2008 Fat Bob.

JuanderBoy oh, nice. That’s pretty much the setup I’m doing but with Bung King risers. What length brake line and clutch cable did you go with?
You have common sense. Good vid.
That might one of the nicest compliment I've ever gotten. Thanks for the comment!
good video
