This is a great honor, the Rabbi only comes to everything!
The Rabbi only comes to ev-er-y-thing ...
I'm still laughing about that one
🤣🤣🤣 silly brews
This j-town spoofsky is Trip down the
"rabbi hole"
- every one goes there
Ho ho ho😮❤
@@Bricksforsale_outofcontext i laughed at how his mispronounced Chanukah
Jason's Jimmy Stewart is fabulous I'm so impressed
I never saw this but, on my goodness Jason Sudekes's Jimmy Stewart is spot on!
The Lawn Gnome yeah but I think Dana carvy's was better
Not spot on as Carvey.
Yeah he fucking nailed that shit. He is really talented.
not really
Fantastic impression!
01:55 Andy Samberg screams "they have lean!" at Fred armisen in a manor that is exactly like a muppet would do it
To be fair Andy Samburg basically is a human muppet. Maybe it's his giant mouth?
This is not a bad skit, however, it's not Cinema Classics with Reese De'What.
I believe you mean Reese De'WHAT!?!?!
@Jason Gilliland - You're quite right, of course. :-)
Came here to look for this comment. Thank you Shawn Gilliland
@Liver Success WONDERFUL
Yesssss
This brings me back to the alternate ending to It's A Wonderful Life. Everybody needs to catch that skit. Years and years before this.
You mean the one with Dana Carvey? I watched it a few minutes ago and I definitely agree that sketch was hilarious! 😂
@@ramirezproductions0826 The line is something like, "You got one over on me, Potter, but you made one mistake and that was leaving me alive!" Even thinking about it makes me laugh to this day.
th-cam.com/video/vw89o0afb2A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oR0pZEaBqHfNAu0n
He did the voice really well!!
yes, he did!!😄
Mel Ortiz
Mel Ortiz I think so too.
Get the lean! They have lean! 😂
I lost it, on that line! Great stuff!
Kristen and Fred like it also😊
This cast was so strong, everyone just on point. Miss these days.
I would definitely watch an "It's a Wonderful Life" remake if Jason Sewdekis played the lead.
Check the TMC announcement just now!
"You invite 40 people over and you don't make coffee" 😮. The most honest thing a human has ever said.
I love when they spoof the classics!
LuLu Diamonds, anyone?
"Get the Lean"! I can't.
Haha - never have seen this before but "Little" Zuzu's line at 3:44 is the killer one!
wow his Jimmy Stuart's accent is amazing.
You should see Dana Carvey's
This Jimmy Stewart impersonation is spot-on!
No, it isn't. Carvey is still supreme.
@@OM19_MO79 agree, Carvey‘s rules.
Thank you Bill.
You put a smile on my face.
He really does sound like Jimmy Stewart
I didn't know I needed Jeff Bridges in a role like this
Omg is the rabbi jeff bridges??? Duuuudeeee
Eh I like the Dana Carvey sketch where they beat up the old man
The Shatner-hosted SNL from 1986 where he shows the alternate ending of It's A Wonderful Life.
mmm-hmm
It's a tough one to beat.
They should never have tried to do another Its a Wonderful Life sketch after that one.

Since I've find out that Bill Hader was nervous in almost every SNL skit and show signs of this putting his hand before his mouth I just can't stop seeing this pattern.
Everyone is raving about Jason's Jimmy Stewart (and rightfully so) but I thought Andy Samberg owned this skit.
If it's so fatty, get the LEAN! They have LEAN!
Well, of course...he's a real Jew. Duh!
You can see Fred Armisen trying not to laugh when Samberg yells at him. It gets me every time.
Agree.
Um no
I thought for a second that Andy Samberg's character was actually Bernie Sanders!
If only we had more Bernies in the Senate.
.......... Are you really fallout boy? And if so can I have your autograph?
the impressions in this are AMAZING!
This just reminds me of every family gathering ever
If it's so fatty GET THE LEAN! THEY HAVE LEAN!
“Dr. Bernstein says that every time a bell rings, you should get your prostate checked.”
😆😆😆😆😆😆 Okay. By and large, this skit made me grin, but _this_ part gave my funny bone a vigorous tickle.
This was... surprisingly accurate
Bill actually was a host on TCM for a few years hosting Essentials Jr. on Sunday nights during the summer.
As wonderful as Sudekis's Jimmy Stewart is, it's Samberg as the cranky old Jewish man who completely floors me.
Because Samberg is…. Jewish.
Great Jimmy Stewart impression!
Ironically, Bill Hader actually hosted a movie show on TCM.
That’s the opposite of ironic
Yeah, the word you were looking for all those years ago was incidentally.
Can we just appreciate "Moishe Samberg as himself"
I wanna see a full movie version of this, yeah I know it's not an actual movie but it would be nice.
It likely would be 6 hours long!
Wrong description, SNL!
Saw that, but glad I watched this one. Hilarious. 'Then get the LEAN, they have lean'. I'm dead! Lmao! Oy.
@@TheMrRoadrunner Link is dead now...
Oh man that is fucking hilarious. William Shatner hahahaaa I like to think Hader would find that funny
@@SpaceCattttt Here's another link to the original Dana Carvey skit:

Jason Sudeikis is a great Jimmy Stewart
💚Jason Sudekis.
It's a minor part, but Kristin Wiig absolutely crushes it here. She's just on another level.
I love Fred's little smile when Andy is yelling at him,
the Jimmy Stewart impression! duuuuuude!!!!!!!
Why is this TH-cam video titled The Lost Ending? It's supposed to be an entirely different version. The Lost ending is another sketch with Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, and that whole 1980's cast.
A Murillo thanks 4 posting
Bill always looks so cute 🤩😍
4m8s "Moishe Samberg as Himself" LOL!
Reminds me when i used to live in Boca.
Abby Elliott is a freakin smokeshow 😍
😍
You are correct
🥰
What does that even mean?
@@MrDino1953 well a smokeshow would be something hot..a lot of heat so I'm alluding to the hotness off Ms Elliott. Freakin is an adjective I used to further illustrate my point
the wrong description of the Vid is the best Part
for a second i thought i was crazy because i thought “wow that guy looks a lot like bill hader..”
I watched this after listening to Bill Hader on Ben Manciewicz’s TCM podcast 👏😂
My favorite cast ❤
Hee haw Sam! He was so hopeful 🤣
Ok...see this is why I always felt a kinship with Jewish folks...cuz of the whole stressed complaining family dynamic...can relate
Me too!
@@alamc200 yea??
Everyone says what a good Jimmy Stewart impression...WHAT?!
@John Barber It's called an opinion. Which I am entitled to!
SNL put the wrong description up on this video. Still funny!!
Close your eyes, and Jimmy Stewart is alive again.
This was how my family celebrated christmas while i was growing up
Great Jimmy Stewart impersonation, voice.
THIS IS NOT THE SKETCH THAT IS DESCRIBED IN THE INTRO. This sketch is kind of funny but not nearly as funny as the sketch description talks about which IS introduced by William Shatner DOES feature Carvey and Lovitz. I found the actual sketch on Daily Motion.
chandler: If you don't like this sketch, watch other sketches. THEY HAVE OTHER SKETCHES!
*Opinunate ted*
You didn't pay attention to Chandler's words. THIS IS NOT THE CLIP DESCRIBED IN THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION ABOVE.
Seems over the years SNL has done at least two skits based on the movie, and this isn't the one described. Someone goofed royally. The other one is much better, because it shows an "alternate ending". Someone realizes that old man Potter stole the money from George's uncle, and the whole crowd of people decide to take the law into their own hands.
There are one or two re-enactments of the skit here on TH-cam, done by other acting groups, based on the SNL version, but the actual SNL version can't be found. Why the SNL channel messed up this way is beyond me.
Nakeyer: I know. I was referencing a line from this sketch. You know, "They have lean!" Ok, never mind.
Opinunate ted Hahahaha I see what you did there.
NBC has it on their website-it may be geo-locked but US viewers should be able to see it. I don't know if I agree that it's funnier (although it is funny), but I would say the impressions are better (although these are good). www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/its-a-wonderful-life-lost-ending/n9521
Andy is incredible
THEY HAVE LEAN!
Kristen Wigg was the least caricaturish of all the Jewish impressions.
I'm dyin' here!! this is great!!!
Is the the same guy who wrote "Home For Purim"? 😅"Cohen's Braziers"!!!! 😂🤣
Moishe Samberg. Love that little Easter egg they put in there-
I don’t think that’s the right description
Damn he sounds just like George bailey
This isn't the sketch I remebered as the "Lost Ending of It's a Wonderful Life"... Dana Carvey and Dennis Miller were in it
They uploaded that one since your comment
Honestly I thought the story would be that they all got their legal minds together to make sure the mean old man got his just desserts
simply hilarious lol
Enter Jeff Bridges! Unexpected and undeserved!
Bill Hader looks like Billie Joe Armstrong
"William Shatner introduces the never-before-seen lost ending of It's a Wonderful Life, where George Bailey (Dana Carvey) and the people of Bedford Falls take bloody revenge on Old Man Potter (Jon Lovitz). [Season 12, 1986]"
Um…
This was okay. The DANA CARVEY alternate ending was golden.
And the 2018 trump one was pure crap. Not funny at all and I hate trump.
Each to their own, but other than Carvey's incredible impression and the enjoyment from seeing everyone's biggest bugbear with that movie finally getting resolved, it really is a flat unfunny sketch that goes on for far too long.
That chick in the back with the 1940's double hair curls is gorgeous.
Andy Samberg sounds like his other character Mort Mort 😂
Sudeikis sounds exactly like George bailey
The original WL-lost-ending spoof, hosted by William Shatner and with DanaCarvey as George, can be found on Dailymotion. That one shows nasty old man Potter getting a comeuppance. This version is as good, with a different ending. Both Carvey and Jason Sudeikis do a great Jimmy Stewart impersonation--
ks dilauri - It’s on You Tube, also: th-cam.com/video/vw89o0afb2A/w-d-xo.html
Jeff Bridhes as a Rabine wow that's worth seeing
Mohel 1-6 in the credits 🤣
Bill Hader looks more nervous than I‘ve seen
looks like in the middle of a panic attack
He rocked an impression of B-Mank 😂
This skit is very funny but so sweet as well.
The screenwriter should have reworde the parody's title as "You Call This a Wonderful Life!??".
i think they need to fix the description
Um...the description box is a bit off. Lol. Here's what it says right now:
"William Shatner introduces the never-before-seen lost ending of It's a Wonderful Life, where George Bailey (Dana Carvey) and the people of Bedford Falls take bloody revenge on Old Man Potter (Jon Lovitz). [Season 12, 1986]"
The lost ending to IAWL that SNL did around 1986 was priceless.

Jason is so talented... he does great impressions.... Im a big fan !
His Bane in We're the Millers still cracks me up.
Who’s here after Jason Sudeikis absolutely smashed it in the Ed Asner Family Center table read of It’s a Wonderful Life?!
Anyone catch Jeff Bridges as the Rabbi?
Wait the description is way off. It said the name of the actors all wrong and said that this skit was part of Season 12 in 1986
Fred sounds like Bernie Sanders, he almost broke when Andy screamed lean hahaha
2010?? Ok. This will be funny.
hiliarous spoof of a holiday classic
OMG ... my life LOL
Sounds alot like jimmy Stewart lol
damn first time i saw this one -- fantastic
Get the lean .. I told you to get the lean !!!
CLASSIC
wrong description
Why is the description...not right?
The “footage” itself wasn’t even that funny, but then the presenter said that the argument went on for forty-three minutes. 🤣 I love jokes that leave things to your imagination like that. Can you imagine if there was actually a scene in a holiday classic that dragged on like that, and what the reaction would be?
“Daddy, why won’t these grampas stop talking about meat?” 🥺
As an Orthodox Jew, this had be in stitches.
