It was a while since I did the same thing to Pentax K-x, but isn't that piece of glass an IR filter rather than (just) AA filter? I have also done the solenoid change to a K-50. Fun cameras to work with!
Thank you for many interesting videos. Removing AA filter from K50 results in image similar to K5 II S? Can AA filter be removed from other Pentax such as older K10D, k-m/k2000?
HI, yes, you can remove the aa filter. The images will not be the same like K-5 IIs because this filter restrict some light spectrum and if you remove it , the final image will be more red :) On K-5 IIS this restriction is available and only the final image is more sharp(moire effect) :)
@@soi-luna3087The solenoid has worked for years, the reason for the malfunction must be something else, I suspect that the geometry of the solenoid has changed or the position of the mounting of the solenoid. All my solenoids look like new, there is no wear.
Wow! You are very talented

Hi dear, what does it give the removing of aa filter?
Hi dear,
You can use infrared photography.
How did you modify the solenoid? The "russian" style?
Hi Rene :) No idea what you mean , but the modification is to use sand paper and rounding the edges :)
@@DIGISERVICEBG thats what I mean :)
russian style is soldering. Sanding is cheapo style. Japanese solenoid is correct style

@@dorfschmidt4833 The www is full of exact explanations and why modifying the plunger is not recommended. It can lead to further damage.
My k50 on 3photo do 2dark and 1correct photo... Where is the problem ?
Hi the solenoid is defective.
