@@oliverstoys8411 I went about a year ago and Super Rajikon do a weird thing at the till, rather than deduct tax and you pay x. You pay the full amount, then they issue a refund on the tax. As above just need your passport.
The store at around the 8 minute mark had a tax-free sign as you entered. I will be going there in a months time for work so taking minimal clothes as it's summer and filling the suitcase 😊
More interested in model planes.. in particular, looking for the rubber powered stick free flight models like the one that shows up in the Totoro movie.

@@pandemiofpvi will go with the kit vs RTR, the electronic and esc, servo, motor and radio included in the RTR are not so good, but if you have limited budget, it the easy way to have it running, i suggest you convert the ¥ to euro and see if this yokomo kits are cheaper in Japan, i suggest you go to super raijikon, they offer 8.5 percent off if you purchase more than ¥5,000 yen and up, check your local bank exchange rate if you are getting discount if you buy there (Japan), as compare to my country (philippines), is cheaper to get the kit there (japan), another good kit to get will be the Reve D RDX and might as well get the need upgrade parts if you happen to visit Japan.
