Miyabi revealed just how much mental turmoil the holostars need to handle because some fans dont like the idea a group of male members in the same umbrella with their hololive oshi. And this lead to a lot of pressure and anxiety issue and not to mention they barely have 10-30 viewers. Despite that, yagoo always support them personally and talk to them face to face whenever he have some mental turmoil going on. Plus, to compensate coco's taiwan incident yagoo gave up a portion of his own salary to be responsible for the whole situation. The fact that he took his time to support the holostars in the beginning shows how great of a person he is.

Polka said numerous times that Yagoo's like a Father to her. And before Yagoo doing a cameo in one of Coco's stream (the one where this clip came from), he already did cameos in a few of her video content. Also, most of the girls haven't either met him, chat with him, or be at least close to him.
I like how throughout all the interview he keeps specifying "this is my personal opinion". As in "it's not from the standpoint of Cover". If you also take into consideration the fact she said he mentioned that he would love to have her partecipating in some special events as a guest star even after her graduation, but it doesn't just depend on him, I'm under the impression he would have liked Coco to stay, but had to put his personal feelings aside due to pressure from the rest of the company and sponsors.

Imagine being such a great employee that the CEO of your company cries about you retiring.
I am just speculating but maybe, just maybe, despite being the CEO, YAGOO cannot control everything. Maybe there is a lot going on behind the scenes that are out of YAGOO's control which led to Coco's and Aloe's graduation.
Maybe YAGOO will really miss Coco.

Well, YAGOO is Hololive's CEO, not Cover's CEO. They have a much bigger voice than he does unfortunately.

Yagoo is the ceo of cover, but when it comes to running a company a ceo isnt really the one whos full control sometimes, even its the highest position, sometimes calls can be influenced by investor or people who has big ownership of company, a company is always dependent on its investor,other companies who partner with them, etc, the one who has to decide last is yagoo as a ceo, same as what happen in china incedent he tried to please both side to not lose anything, but it didnt work, so he gave up china, for coco, and right now why cover made alot restriction is to avoid trouble like demonetize, or any politcal whatever, after all cover has no control over youtube or people who will flame their idols, hololive isnt the same as before whereis they can do whatever they want cus nobody care, now its huge, everybody cares what they say and do, and tries to find opportunity to destroy them, cus of jealosy of sucess.
As reported by Coco herself. Staff did try to stop her graduating. But Coco was determined to move on. (This was in one of her talk streams)
Edit: I should also note that other than warnings, staff and Coco were on good terms. Hence why Coco wanted to help out bts at one point.
