Yes it doesn't completely clear it but it does a good job at making them way less noticeable. The trick is to apply it as soon as possible to AVOID scratches/scuffs.
@@aslye Well I think you're still a bit confused about what 303 does, it will not help to avoid scratches either. It's purpose is to reduce UV degradation on surfaces, that's it. I've been using it on my vehicle tires for years and it's a necessity if you keep your vehicle outside because tires can start to show drying/cracking in as little as a few years from Sun exposure.
Be careful with using USB sticks to record sentry mode footage. Constant writing and rewriting can cause it to fail since USB flash drives aren't usually designed for that. Highly recommend an SSD
SSD does provide better perofrmance and longer life but I haven't had any issues with my flash drive since Tesla updated to v10. But SSDs are great if you want to upgrade. Here's the one I got from Amazon: geni.us/lwDxjmt
2 speeding tickets @ setting cruise 10 over regularly sounds about right. I’d say cut the 10 over to 5 over and you won’t need the radar/laser detector. Just my experience with doing about 40k miles per year, and last speeding ticket was in 1996. Knock on wood.
Great video Andy - thank you. Small remark - looks like your screen protector is installed upside down since the bottom is slightly curved and this is the part sticking out on the top edge where you have a chip now.
Enjoy all of your videos, Andy, but I must disagree on your recommendation for the Solo S4 radar detector. It does not have IVT filtering which means on a freeway it is constantly going off on other vehicles radar cruise control, car in adjacent lane detection systems, traffic monitoring devices in place on the roads. I was on I-10 and I-75 in Florida and it was going off constantly. I was slowing down so many times I just stuck to the speed limit. Another problem is there is no full manual on the website. The Quick Setup manual is the only manual available. Customer service told me if I wanted a manual I should buy another model. Total disappointment on every level.
I bought a model 3 long range, rear wheels drive for 49000$. Now the standard range 250 miles cost only 38000$. It means 60 mile extra range cost me 11000$ more. So you should wait little longer the price of model Y gonna drop like the model 3.

The secret dashcam drive compartment……well, it WAS a secret. Not a criticism; you can’t tell about it without telling about it. I guess nothing is totally secure because I hear about late night business robberies where one of the items taken is the security DVR. Would be nice if Tesla could send the data to the cloud if a break-in was detected. Really good information though. Hoping to order my Model 3 soon.

Thanks Jim! The cell phone mount is awesome. The suction cup has a sticky material on it to help it adhere to the surface and I tested it out by removing it after it had been on for a few weeks and it left no residue or markings whatsoever on the back of my display. Can I put money on my Tesla account through some other means such as at a Bank or Albertson's grocery store? What if a computer hacker shuts down my Tesla account remotely so that I can't recharge my Tesla? What if something goes wrong at the charging station, is there a re-charging station attendant who can help me get re-charged? Does Tesla pay for a tow truck to a Tesla dealer like the gasoline fueled automobile companies (Ford, Chevrolet, etc. )?

Is the screen protector easier to install and avoid air bubbles than a normal phone screen protector? I have a heck of a time with my phone’s 5.8” screen let alone a 15” screen 🙈
It took me like 5 minutes to install. Just make sure the screen is clean and clear of any debris or dust. That’s the most important thing. Bubbles weren’t an issue for me. It adheres to the screen nicely. geni.us/LD1S5m7

Andy Slye I have white in my 3, and LOVE them; but they are definitely not maintenance free. Keep a resealable pack of baby wipes in the glovebox and wipe down the drivers seat once every week or two and you’ll be fine.
