Honestly, most of these, especially the floor mats and the rear seat area with the cover looks like garbage. Design really matters with car accessories, and in this case it ends up looking like a third world taxi 😑
We bought very classy, durable floor mats for our current vehicles, and will be buying some for our new Tesla, from www.cocomats.com. They're not rubber but we live in Florida where there is generally no snow, ice, or mud.

PSA: Do NOT use a flash drive for Sentry Mode. They're not designed to be constantly written and rewritten over. Get an SSD instead. They are a lot more reliable and less likely to have corrupted files
@Class Clown lol those are spinning hard drives. SSD's are Solid State Drives. Solid meaning one piece, ie no spinning
@Class Clown HDDs are mechanical and therefore spin... SSDs don't...
Another option is a micro SD card with a USB card reader. Look for micro SD cards with endurance in the name. They're designed for a wider temp range and can handle many more write cycles.
I would recommend flipping the console organizer so the cutout is facing backwards, it's meant for the light to shine through
I work Valet and we use a clear plastic card holder like the one you bought and use that to attach our tickets to

Best custom fitted floor mats are made by a company called Tuxmat. They come with plastic anchors to hold them tight and you can quickly vacuum and just wipe them down.
You should check out the 3D Maxpider Kagu mats, I’ve had them since May and they’ve been great! Still look and feel brand new too, and it’s a very snug fit!
I like the shine of the original center console.... so you could ask a PPF film service place to put clear PPF on that. I don’t like the matte nearly as much. The PPF film is clear and console stays shiny and does not get scratched at all and easy to wipe.
My suggestion for a cable tidy is to use a "water hose" tidy as it has a large curvature holder so puts less stress on the heavy gauge cable that does not like to be bent. The one you show has to much point loading on the cable.
I'd suggest getting liner for your rear window to protect water from getting into your trunk. Kind of like rear spoiler in a way.

yeah, the stock one scratches really easily and apparently attracts a lot of lint and dust. I'd 100% get a wrap
Maxpider 3D mats are awesome, they are a hybrid between the grip of carpet and the durability of rubber. fit great and also have a nice deep edge. And there are matching trunk and trunk liners (a bit more $ though). Nomad wireless phone charger is a MUST, just drop the phone on, no fussing with plugs and cases. (there are cheaper ones, but its great.) I have the same console organizer, and matte white wrap. I wish the seat back protectors went up higher, my kids have stretched them with their backpacks up high...
I definitely want the wireless charger. I have a few companies contacting to to do a review on theirs so I may have one soon. Still kind of shocked I don't have one now lol. How old are your kids?
Agreed on the Maxpider mats. I have these for the interior, but I have the Tesla trunk and frunk mats the work great, and I found a mat for the "trunk well" that matches the the Tesla trunk and frunk mats; all have decent lips for holding a significant amount of liquid. The Maxpider mats were a bit on the high side for price ($225+tax), but after having used them for a full winter and the portion of the one we are currently in, I'd buy them again as I have zero complaints. Also a definite yes on the Nomad (although I went with the Jeda because you can turn your phone sideways if you want; I haven't yet, but I can...).

Also, there are endurance ssd s more suitable for constant rewrites, but don't work with that cool app

I noticed you don’t have the door handle wraps? I have the door sill wraps also and work just well as door handle wraps. Make sure you get some, ev wraps are pretty great
I have a Nomad wireless charger, centerconsole wrap, console tray, original tesla floormats (the bigger all weather ones), frunk carpet and trunkmat, T5 Samsung SSD, juice Booster, performance pedals and footrest in the same aluminum design. AND the tesla flattire kit with compressor.
I almost bought that compressor. Did you get the one that pumps in the tire sealant stuff? That looked interesting 🤔

I tried those door sill protectors and took them off. They looked terrible and were hard to put on without bubbles. They're actually a door sill protector protector - the sill is the body color portion and the piece with the Model 3 logo is actually the protector. I wish I had my $20 back.

Talk about a design flaw - rainwater flows straight into the trunk when it's open? Can probably be solved by a small lip or channel to redirect the water.
The November 2020 redesign fixes that problem indeed.
Do you leave your mobile charger at home all the time?
I have a Model 3 on the way and am completely against screen protectors, whether it's for a phone, tablet, laptop - you name it. The screen is designed to be looked at and interacted with in a certain way, and by adding a screen protector you are potentially distorting the image (i.e. with matte screen protectors), causing dangerous glare from the sun, and affecting the feel and smoothness of the screen. Just my two cents coming from a background in IT.

Great Video, I have almost all the same accessories. My only suggestion is do not put your contact info on your card key. You could put a first name and phone of a family member that does’t live with you just for security. Last thing you need is someone finding a lost one and knowing where go to get access to your Tesla. Look forward to your next video.

If you lose the key card with your contact information the card can be easily deleted via the touch screen. Valets misplace these cards because they can’t hang them from hooks like traditional keys. Eventually they will find it so best to have your phone number on it. Most people aren’t going to find your card on the ground and suddenly decide to risk jail time by stealing your car.
I have a Spring Loaded cup holder by Etsy. Keeps water bottles from moving. There is one by Lucksy on Amazon. I also bought a screen protector from Elon Accessories. It is expensive. No finger prints, no glare and thick enough so that if you drop something on the screen it will protect it from cracks and scratches. I like the fact that it is NOT shinny and doesn't reflect.

Ted Baxter I haven’t yet. So far it has worked as advertised.
@@CfTesla don't use those. Even if it works. It is going to burn out in a matter of months, sometimes even weeks. USB sticks are not designed for repeated full drive writes like this.
You need something like an SSD designed for much higher amounts of writes.

U needed the 💡 inside the trunk and inside the car to be changed. Cuz the one they come with the car is sucks and u can’t see anything at night especially the trunk. And I got everything you got u except the mat on the trunk and I think i am getting one now
Yes I do need that for sure. Have you seen those guys who put the lights in the door that project the word or symbol of Tesla onto the ground? Those look kind of cool.
@@CfTesla I did the two trunk lights and it makes a world of difference in the dark. The dimness of the stock interior lights is a positive for me and I'm indifferent about the puddle lights so those are still stock on mine, but knowing what I know now, the trunk lights would be very high on my priority list. (Just shy of 25k miles)

Kadhim Tech I did the trunk and front door puddle lights. 10x better now. Didn’t get the symbol bc I thought it’d cut down on the amount of light I’d get. 10/10 recommend.

What about corrupted sentry mode files due to repetitive overwriting? Someone on youtube was suggesting an "endurance" micro sd card in a usb 2 or 3 usb reader. I've placed an order on amazon for the same you got cause I like the fact it can plug directly in my iphone but stil worried about corrupted files.
Honestly I use it all the time to save videos and overwrite for my youtube videos and have never had a problem. I have it out almost every day and use the heck out of it. I have been very happy.

alfo40 An SSD hard drive or SD card is far superior to a USB thumb drive for sentry mode video. The thumb drives get corrupted over and over and need to be reformatted on a computer. SSD prices are pretty reasonable for 500GB
Screens are 1500 and it’s sad when you actually need to replace it cause I live no where near a service center. Which sucks.
I disagree with a few of these accessories and here's why (I have over 20k miles on my car)
Sparta key Holder: Just stick the card in your wallet like a credit card.
JDMCAR flocked center consol organizer tray insert: This has a design flaw. It's TOO snug and will mark your center console liner. I lined the exterior of this organizer with gaffer tape and now it slides in and out with ease. Manufacturer should re-think the exterior material, otherwise great product.
EV wrap door sill protector: I don't have a single scratch. You have to lift your foot pretty high to get in and out of the car so you'll automatically clear that metal plate but do be careful to avoid scratching the plastic trim next to it as it sits pretty high (you can see it in the video).
Hikotor cargo mat liner for trunk: I would recommend the Tesla brand cargo liner. It folds pretty easily to access the compartment below. That being said, the Hikotor brand may have a higher lip.
I have not had any issues with excessive amounts of water getting in my trunk. That being said, if you apply any sort of wax or water repellant to the rear glass, the water will gain speed as it flows down the glass and will end up in the trunk.
Good to have that prospective of 4x the experience. I only use the card holders for Valet as I was saying. I may not have made that clear. The rest of the time it is in my wallet. The door sill protectors as you saw I was on the fence about myself as to if they were actually needed or not. Definitely haven't seen any markings on the center consul tray YET but good tip to protect for future. Thanks again for the in site! This is exactly what I hope for with these videos.

Also did you do anything with PPF or ceramic coating, etc?
Sayantan Ganguly hey I haven’t done anything to the inside with ceramic but I did do a DIY coating that I love and looks great. In the back I have all sorts of protective accessories so no worries there. Check out that video to see. I also have a video coming out soon showing the accessories I use to protect from kids.
@@CfTesla yea, I found the video on the DIY ceramic coating, so I will certainly look into that. I've found others who have done a similar (another product) for ceramic coating their white seats. will certainly be interested to see how your seats have held up both on the driver's side as well as the back seat with the kids. And what products you recommend to use for cleaning, etc. I'm pretty sold at this point in getting the white interior. Just a matter of what is the best things to get to ensure it stays protected.

One other question... Out of curiosity, how much of the solution was actually used for the coating? is it one bottle per one round of coating or do you think this one bottle can last several rounds of ceramic coating? I'm assuming you will need to apply coating every 6-9 months?
You should only use SLC flash type of storage for this kind of application. Since it will be having high demands on it 24x7 read/writes, SLC is best for durability and reliability over time vs regular mainstream MLC. I use this one, www.thessdreview.com/featured/mach-xtreme-mx-es-ultra-slc-usb-3-0-flash-drive-review-64gb/ . for my router which requires an external flash drive to store the apps that run on it. Just pick the size needed i.e. 64GB or higher.
Can you plug it directly into an iPhone? Because mine has been working perfectly for over 5k miles, which isn’t much I know, and I use it all the time for my videos.
@@CfTesla No. Just a computer mac or PC, etc. I'm more concerned with read/write reliability and longer flash life in higher demand frequent read/writes vs a minor convenience like connecting to a phone directly. If you're interested in putting the highest quality components in a car SLC type flash is the highest end most reliable type of flash and for this kind of application in a car of this caliber should be the only option. If you plug it in and forget for several years and then all of a sudden need it and it dies only you didn't know it after a year or two. If not then the standard cheaper mainstream flash drives are fine.

I'm still researching though. Only drawback to this type of flash is tough to find in mainstream sales outlets and more expensive than more common MLC flash. I had purchased my drive on Amazon, but it's not out there anymore. If I find it out there somewhere or another manufacturer of SLC flash I'll post it.
Otherwise some great stuff you found. As if there aren't enough floor mat options though. I think I'd get the WeatherTek mats. We use them on our current and past Priuses. They make custom fit components for cars including both front and rear cargo mats. www.weathertech.com/tesla/2019/model-3/

You can probably use a label maker for the card, all you need is probably your phone number and name.

What can I use to reduce 'road noise'? The more I drive the louder the road noise gets.
BIll Ligon so you think it is the wind noise it actual road? A lot of people complain about the wind noise.

You had the matte paneling for the middle console, we got it in carbon and also for the glossy black on the door panels (around the open door button) to have less finger stains on there as well :)

I ordered the SR+ and will have a home charger
And I live in Southern California.
I drive about 200-300miles a day.
I wanted to save as much as possible and Im hoping with the upcoming years they will install more super charger locations quickly.
It seems doable maybe having to stop throughout the day or just before heading home.
I don’t want to pay to change my order now.
I’m betting all on the ST+ being able to handle a couple years of relative peace of mind compared to the LR
