10:12 Two teams, is a faster way to obtain the desired end result. As well, it was easier than hauling / carrying loose rock, a longer distance to get it out. Each team, had 1/2 the total distance, give or take each teams' progressive speed at ' tunneling '. Or, ' conduiting '.
Great job. It is often amazing how people will look at a biblical passage, then view something in the current physical world, and then, read that into the text. It shows we really should be careful of reading from the text and not into the text, as the authors of Nature had done. Great work.
Nice video, I got a question. In Genesis 50:13(KJV) it says "For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre." Genesis 50:13 (LXX) it says "So his sons carried him up into the land of Chanaan, and buried him in the double cave, which cave Abraam bought for possession of a burying place, of Ephrom the Chettite, before Mambre." But in Acts 7:15-16 (KJV) it says "So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers, And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem." So where was Jacob buried?
Acts 7:15 "And Jacob went down to Egypt and he died; likewise/also our fathers 16 and they were removed to Shechem and laid in the tomb which Abraham had purchased for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor in Shechem." - In most translations (as in NASBu) ‘died’ is a plural form, but in the Greek ‘died’ is a singular form with ‘Jacob’ as subject, not ‘Jacob and the fathers’ as subject. And so ‘they were removed’ refers to the last mentioned plural form, i.e. ‘the fathers’ and not to ‘Jacob and the fathers’. That’s all. This mistake was made in the King James Version first.

In Hebrew the word for conduit is a תעלה, as it says in Melakhim Bet (Kings II 20) וְיֶתֶר דִּבְרֵי חִזְקִיָּהוּ, וְכָל-גְּבוּרָתוֹ, וַאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה אֶת-הַבְּרֵכָה וְאֶת-הַתְּעָלָה And the remainder of the deeds of Hizkiyahu (Hezekiah), and with all of his might who made The Pool and The Conduit. T'alah in Hebrew is either an above ground canal or a below ground or enclosed duct. If he made the Pool, then he made the duct connecting the Gichon spring with the Pool.
Error. There is a time, difference between Hezekiahs' tunnel, and aquaducts. The first aqueduct was the Aqua Appia, erected in 312 BC by the censor Appius Claudius Caecus (c. 340 to 273 BC). THIS, is a lot later, than when Hezekiah began his tunnel. The Romans, took off with them, though. GET your data correct, first before doing a video.
Scholars, are not FAITH BASED . THAT BIBLE, is accurate, and true. Scrub those ' scholars '. Conduit, is a tunnel. Electricians, install conduits, for industrial projects. A ' tunnel ' for wires. A ' tunnel ' for water = same word ' conduit '.

Radiometric dating is not necessarily carbon dating. The latter applies only to organic substances such as when a corpse died or so.

Aquaducts were mostly underground, except for when they passed through a valley, or entered a city
I did not know this.
I thought there were mainly above ground (thinking of the classic looking Roman Ducts)
thanks for sharing

Are those Roman conduits..??...!...
Yep they are.
No Jewish ones survive today
This is not ancient Hebrew script. It is Canaanite, we know this because because the “aleph” resembles a bull’s head not a flag pole.
8th century when.....????
700-799 AD
@@thestudyofchristianity so you are saying that the tunnel was built AFTER the Messiah was killed by some 700 years....AD....??

What was dated? Neither stones nor bones can be dated. Besides, carbon dating only give just an estimate. No dating methods are reliable.
@Jafs Jafs That was not an opinion. It is a fact.
Any organic material in the tunnel can be dated, such as wood. Each sample would produce a result, they can be graphed and a mean found.
