Not everyone gets fitted. I got a TM Qi10, and thru some short trial and error, I found that I have this 10.5 set to about 9 and in the upright setting. Normally I wouldn’t even try that but I was just messing around with the settings at the range, and I found that was the best setting with the best ball flight. I’ve had that set there for a good while with excellent results. To be fair, you should get fitted. I’m just saying that not everyone does.
I have a Qi10 3HL with 16.5 degrees and cut 0.5” shorter. Made all the difference and it’s kind of a 4 wood in reality. Gaps well between 10.5 degree driver and 7 wood as well
Chris I am looking for affordable iron so I've been thinking about the tacos Do you think the 101s would be good for 110 handicap If you could give me a shout back or an answer I'd appreciate it
What if a player is fit then gets better or worse. For instance, a relatively inexperienced player may slice and a proper fit fairway wood may help but as the player learns to swing a bit inside out the help from the wood setting may hinder playability. I'm not a fitter but a rule of thumb is; increasing loft will close the face slightly and promote a draw, decreasing loft will open the face slightly and promote a fade. Changing weights on some woods, hybrids, and some rare irons from heal to toe or toe to heal can mitigate a slice or hook, Also the lie angle can be changed on most irons and some woods and that can help hooks and slices. Your swing might can get help from your gear, and in some cases A Lot of Help. So, go see Chris Dennis !!!
Riddle me this please Chris. Is there a difference between a club with and adjustable hosel for loft to gripping a non adjustable club a degree or two closed or open. And if so what is that difference.
It’s a myth to say that adjustable hosels just change face angle. The adapter changes the angle that the shaft goes into the head. When you change loft, you’re actually tilting the whole head either forwards or backwards. The change in face angle only occurs when you rest the sole of the club on the ground. If you have reduced loft, the head is tilted forwards and back of the club is raised up when you hold the club square. But, from that position, if you let the back of the club rest back on the ground, the head rotates back into an open position.

Great video for fairway woods.
Great video Chris, keep them coming brother
Well done Chris 👏
Bobby was probably off hiding your kit kats when it went blurry
You need to do a tour of your simulator, your ball loading machine and return...
But you cant get fitted for Takomo, can you?

Hi John, thanks for the comment. The Takomos are great value and perform fantastic. What was your handicap? And what is your normal bad shot?
