Great job! Watched all your videos and picked up some great tips. Honda charged me $500.00 two years ago for my 1996 yellow Magna I have owned since I bought it new. You have given me confidence in doing it myself.
Do those jets just thread in all the way? And if so how much torque? "Gently snug" im assuming? Ive never cleaned out a carb before so this video and the carb removal video you did on the 3rd gen magna is very appreciated.
I wish I could have found this video sooner. Put mine in the shop and $1,300 later, my carbs were rebuilt. I could have tried to do it myself. The shop put plastic zip ties on all tube connections.
@EvendimataE the shop guy was suppose to call me with estimate. He didn't. He called me when it was finished and have me the price then. Asked why he didn't call. He had no answer. Never again
You didn’t have to sync the carbs after doing this??? Your videos are all the knowledge I have of this. And looking to clean mine like this but curious if I need to sync afterwards?
Has anyone ever deleted the mesh screen? I plan on running an inline filter and figured deleting it would be more cost effective than replacing it since I'm running an inline filter. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thank you so much for this series I’ve been so close to paying out the ass for a carb clean and now I think I can do it myself.
