- It probably comes as no surprise that this deck uses Malygos as a combo piece to do massive burst damage in the late game with cheaper spells thanks to Emperor Thaurissan. Otherwise the deck might just not only survive but win games with pure efficiency.

15:16 mistake : when you have multiple ways to lethal, make sure you use the last card you draw, so your opponent think you topdecked it.

But he guessed what it was, it seemed, and just botched the attack order.

Tony Kong I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to you. I finally crafted a Malygos a month ago and got it in a pack a week later. The optimist in me says that's 400 free dust but the pessimist points out I could have saved 1200 dust if I had waited to craft it.
I really like this series, I think it is very informative. While I don´t play all the decks you have showcased, these videos have definitely helped me in a couple of games.
Omg this series would be 100 times more useful if it was just a 10 part guide on how to play face hunter...

I got back into hearthstone recently and this deck is perfect for me. Right now the decks I am building/playing are patron warrior, oil rogue and now I'm looking at this. It's like combo control.

Out of all the Malygos decks, (Warlock, Rogue, Mage) I have NEVER seen Malygos be played ONCE until this video.

Not sure he's gonna make a video of it since these seems to be covering meta decks and how they function. Echo Molten isn't a 'bad' deck but it is so much a combo deck it puts Grim Patron to shame that consists of roughly 7-9 core combo cards and 21-23 support cards.
Its a bit too much of a 'one-trick-pony' to reliably be played so... don't think he's gonna make a video on it but I would most certainly be intrigued if he did so ^^
Required cards:
2 Grim Patron
2 Warsong Commander
2 Death's Bite
1 Whirlwind
This is what makes the ABSOLUTE basics of a Grim Patron warrior.
After that you include the 1-2 Armorsmiths, you include 2 Frothing Berserkers for the Handlock decks, and more whirlwind effects but competitive decks have sometimes cut 1 whirlwind in favour for more card draw so... could be argued but the second Whirlwind certainly fits into this section and possibly an inner rage as many of the decks run that. That is the core and when adding up...
So I will have to correct myself: 11-13 core combo cards... with 17-19 support cards.

Cole444Train in fact, the 4/2 would most likely just die to aoe (just like it did in the video), so playing it was a waste of a card, and deleting a dead oil target.
but yeah, i can't blame him in that situation as he had lethal no matter what
bacon speck It was less likely that it would die to aoe, as a Blade Flurry and Fan of Knives had already been played. Many Oil Rogues don't run a second Fan of Knives, so Trump probably thought it was worth the risk considering he was about to win regardless.
Does Malygos combo with implosion?
Shame this one is so short, especially considering the fact that 1 of the 2 duels is a loss.

I don't really play ladder beyond rank 20, and I think I came across this deck earlier, and just scoffed at how silly it looked. Guess I lucked out against a valid net deck.

By which I mean I can vaguely remember seeing Malygos played once or twice. I suppose I might see the card a bit more now. Then again I almost exclusively play aggro so maybe I'm just not ever getting far enough into the games.
Zombi Pineapple For every Malygos you see, you've probably played against a half-dozen Malygos decks. He doesn't actually get dropped that often, especially vs. aggro.
you usually recognize them because they play zoo cards(imp gang boss) and ctrl/Handlock cards (twilight drake)
You must be at low ladder because this sees much more play in ranks under 5

This game is just another highlight as to why Thaurissan should be at the start of your turn, like other utility legends. The rogue had no opportunity to interact with it before the entire benefit of the card was had, and was totally screwed because of it.
Best part about the deck: No BGH targets. Every other version of warlock has BGH targets, and this one doesn't. Even zoo runs Sea Giant and Buffed up Void Terror.
I'm f2p and I crafted Malygos because he just seemed like fun and then this deck popped up

I find that in the current meta (facing secret pally every other game) this deck list doesnt work.
You need the early game with the zombie chows and blackwing technicians.
Maybe even consider putting in another defender of argus but this might be a bit too much.

You can replace abusives with Zombie Chow (deck is just bad in standard because of no dark bomb) and BGH with Siphon Soul and whatever the heck else you want. Twilight Guardian? I'd also replace owl with either spellbreaker or earthen ring farseer. Whichever you value more. Hope this was helpful!

There would be no point to that card. If you were to play that card you would havr the same hand size.
4 cards in hand - play that card - still 4 cards in hand, because you played your card to draw the others and then you discarded another card. You would be better off playing Loot Hoarder at that point.
Just look at Arcane Intellect as a 3 mana spell - make your hand 1 card larger than before.
The only reason that would be a thing would be because of Fist of Jaraxxus which is getting released soon, but Warlocks don't need draw anyway.
asteorom Cycling and not having cards in hand don't go well together. As I said, playing Loot Hoarder or Acolyte of Pain is just better.

This deck always seemed really gimmicky. Primarily waiting for 1 card that takes a turn to play lateagame is always dangerous. Handlock and Zoo seem more consistent.
+SRNF The deck is pretty consistent even if you don't drop malygos, though not as consistent as zoo or handlock imo. But even if you don't drop malygos, you can still win the game. It's not that much about waiting for the draw.

This is probably a troll, but if it isn't, damaging face with burst at random really doesn't work, and soul fire is especially bad because he'd be trading negligible damage for two cards, which is a horrible trade

Hey Im new to hearthstone, can someone tell me how Zombie chow is good? Isnt it bad if it restores so much health to your opponent? What is the point of the card? What does trumpmean by it 'stalling' the game? If someone can help, Id greatly appreciate it. 😀
The zombie chow poses as an immediate threat, so people usually kill it before they have lost 5 or more health. What he means by "stalling" is making sure he doesnt die before he is able to do the combo or kill them another way. Most control decks need to stall until they can afford the big minions
Another thing to note is that a lot of control decks are not going to be so concerned about the opponents health since if they have enough control they end up winning anyway. Zombie Chow is a fantastic control card.
Long ljhkj Zombie chow has very good stats for a 1 mana minion. Health restore is usually irrelevant because the opponent might have full health and receive nothing. Even if the opponent gets 5 health, the board control provided by zombie chow is very valuable. Stalling the game means that you stop your opponent from killing you while you get more mana and get access to expensive cards
If you somehow go into topdeck wars in arena topdecking chow is really sad however

You're putting Malygos warlock deck which has been popular for only 2 weeks to like a month,yet you not putting a Mech mage video.
Malygos lock is a much more powerful, played, and consistent deck in the meta and in general.

i played mech mage vs this deck twice, against the same person and in both cases i played blastmage on turn 4, and in both cases he used abusive + bgh to kill it T_T

The gold cost is referring to the cost of the wings of the expansions, namely Naxxramas and Blackrock Mountain, which some of these cards come from.
basse161 The gold cost refers to the wings of Naxxramas and Blackrock Mountain you need to beat in order to obtain every deck. If you purchased and cleared both PvE Expansions, the gold cost is irrelevant.
