jag ger Yeah I noticed that too but there is nothing I can do about it annotations are just wonky like that. I can only hope that this doesn't happen for everyone. Maybe chrome users have more luck - I am on Firefox. The only thing I can say right now is: try carefully hovering over the deck from left to right and carefully go back to the left without hovering over another deck before selecting a different one in the same fashion. ~Jens

Great strat. I won 3/4 my first time with a variance of this deck (didn't have all the cards, but most). Was able to complete quest and get new set of cards after 2 hours of losing.
Any chance we can get some updated deck teachings? I know the basic principles still apply and ive learned a lot already (i thought zoo meant aggro 🤦🏾♂️) but i would love to understand the concept behind some of the new cards within each deck.
Love the flexibility of Zoo, very customizable and budget build are strong enough, a prefect place to start in Hearthstone, like I did. I still have my Zoo deck and still love it. P.S: I want a Mal'ganis :(
Didn't know about this deck until now, I made the basic deck(- the Doomguards, Implosion's and x1 Knife Juggler, I could make them but gathering dust at the moment to make a legendary)and I'm having a lot of fun with it! So much so that I decided to aim for Golden Warlock next after I'm done with Mage(@400 by the end of today)
I crafted mal'ganis for this and im absolutely amazed by the card in this Deck. I only played it a few ranked Games and it almost always made huge swings or insane Bonus damage(buffed demons) I still have to craft a sea giant and a void Terror tough...replaced it with with sylvanas and shadowflame. Works fine as well. edit: from rank 15 to 9 with only 1 defeat
The magic deck was called zoo mainly because it featured lions, wolves, bears and the like. not all the cards were animals, but there was enough to make the connection.
People still call this aggro, but it quite obviously isn't. If it were aggro you would always play doomguard on turn 5 but you'll never actually do so.
Max S I'd still label it as aggro. Not in a bad way though. Now the word "aggro" has gained a very negative meaning in HS, often associated with "cancerous", but I think this Zoo is what could be a "positive" kind of aggro, since it definely promotes board control over face damage, while still being a very fast deck.
Max S aggro = aggression. aggression doesn't always mean hitting face- you could also be aggressive in board control. compared to a deck like handlock, zoo is very aggressive in its board control.
There is a thing called aggro control, which is exactly what this deck is. It has aggressive minions which it uses to control the board. It's still an aggro deck when it needs to be but it doesn't crumble in the late game.
Love this series! I noticed that in addition to zoo you will also be doing videos for handlock and malygos. Can you also do the arcane golem+PO+PO+faceless deck? Always loved that one hehe.
Thanks for the informative video i have been playing zoo all wrong i was playing aggro all the time because all the low cost cards cause the illusion that you are more of a rush deck.
Zoo might not be a face deck, but it's definitely an aggressive deck. Such a low mana curve means you'll be putting out threatening plays consistently starting on turn one which, if left unchecked, will win you the game. If that isn't the very definition of aggressive, then I don't know what the fuck is. Call it aggressive control or whatever you want but it IS aggressive, by the very definition of the word.
Man, I should *really* dust off my old Zoo deck and update it. It still has Sun Cleric and double Soulfire. Looking even further, it also has x2 Dire Wolf Alpha and x2 Hellfire. I was probably dumb.
Hey Trump! Maybe I missed a video but can you explain how to controll back a board? Cards? Spell? This always get me as I lose because I have very bad follow up.
Rules for Zoo that you need to know Rule number 1: Take all the Stoneskin Gargoyles you can. Rule number 2: There is no rule 2 all you need is Stoneskins and you will win
I have this same deck, except I don't have Mal'Ganis or Sea Giant so I traded them for Justicar Trueheart and Antique Heal Bot. I also have two Dreadsteeds instead of Implosion and an Abusive Sergeant. Are these ok trade offs?
Great video from which i learned alot(newbie here) but I'm getting my minions molested when i play against classes that have multiple board clears mage and shaman for an example.So my question is can i squeeze loatheb in this deck and instead of which card.My guess is for one of the doomguards but i would like to hear of you guys first.Thanks!
You can choose between Dr. Boom, Mal and Giant, especially if you're on a budget. Alternatively, just look up an updated zoo deck, they carry Loathebs nowadays.

vesmo lol Zoo is a control deck with a fast tempo. It's aggressive in relationship to the tempo of the other deck.
