- Detailed review and test of the 2024 Haval H6 GT, including price, value for money, interior, warranty, driving dynamics and more.
The Haval H6 GT's styling writes cheques that its chassis can't quite cash, but it is still a pretty affordable midsize coupe-SUV.
This is the swoopier-styled version of the Haval H6 which competes with the Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson and others.
Today, we address the five hits and five misses of the 2024 H6 GT.
At just $46,490 driveaway it represents sharp buying compared to most mainstream SUVs. But we're looking for improvements from the upcoming facelift, especially in the driving department.

I just love these reviews compare it to a car $20k more expensive and then complain because it doesn't have Satnav and DAB radio. Really just don't understand. I have a Haval H6 Vanta 4WD and it's a fantastic car for the price.
Car reviewers love the VW
Completely out of touch. Of course, there's little to complain about in most VW Products, besides frustrating touch controls. They drive well, fuel efficient, well packaged. Except they're pricey and not reliable compared to the Japanese/Korean offerings. At least this Haval offers a decent $$ saving

I have the H6 Ultra 4x4 and find the performance and comfort exceptional. The DCT and turbo fly through the gears brilliantly, most competitors have old cvt and standard auto which are crap. Truth is the Haval kills the competition
Mentality of most it must on par with competitors which are 20k more
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 VERY GOOD PRICE AND VALUE WITH WARRANTY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Digital radio in the tank 500 hybrid ( my pick in the GWM vehicle lineup..!?
Didn’t see this model running on streets in China a few weeks ago so wouldn’t touch this in Australia at all. You never know when it’s going to be discontinued 😅
Must be rare thing ice SUV nowadays

So basically this review is a rinse and repeat of 18 months ago, with seemingly no changes on this 2024 "example" ???? Or did I miss the point of this review......
Chinese vehicles have very interesting features on low prices.
Prefer the looks of the Standard model .looks a little too much like a rav 4 in my opinion.
Would not touch it. It has not changed a bit! The issues are still there. Yes, its cheap but, for a reason. I know someone that sold it within 5 months of purchasing the car. It's almost if some of our OZ TH-cam reviewers have been paid to promote a old stock that is not selling. Please......
Not sure about its 2nd Hand Value for Chinese branded cars
True, repairs etc must be a nightmare
Hard to say because the quality of Chinese cars is improving at a rapid clip. Five year old ones were considerably worse when new compared to this H6 for instance, and in five years, we expect they will be much, much better again…
as a rule of thumb if a new caris not popular new then it won't be popular 2nd hand the like of Havel and MG have been very popular new so 2nd won't be falling off a cliff
@@robertceroli3512 VW Tiguan as an example was a very popular model. And yet the resale value has tanked due to its poor reliability. Don’t think that this argument holds water
@@yslee1401😆
I personally wouldn’t purchase any Chinese car or a European car as the reliability would be a big concern for me . I would rather a Japanese vehicle any day .
Then you better stick to a Toyota Camry the most boring car on the planet
Totally agree mate!
@@robertceroli3512 yep I would pick a Toyota Camry over this Chinese rubbish any day . Tell me something that is made in china with Chinese engineering that is superior quality to Japanese?? Lol
and Korean...just as good.

Chinese? No thank you!
How much money did the Chinese pay Chasing Cars for a favourable review?
