Back in the 70’s, we couldn’t land at Shannon because there was cows on the runway. This is true. I was coming from Canada and I had never heard of such thing.
It never happened.
It certainly did. I thought at that time that it could only happen in Ireland. I am from Ireland.
I think its politically incorrect to call them cows now 😂.
You probably never heard of it because it never happened!🤥
Thats 50 years ago.. FIFTY.. it’s not the same now
Connor you are looking a lot happier recently something must be going well for you…keep it up mate.
We are an extremely sarcastic nation 😂
Really.
We sure are.... 😅😅😅😅
Hhmm dont know about that now
I bet a kidney it was a hare not a rabbit at Dublin airport. Its full of the feckers, no idea why.
They get free flights.
The actor who played Mr Bronson in BBC1's school drama Grange Hill not only played a bad guy in Star Wars he also played Hitler in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, along with other roles in big films and TV.
Dara is brilliant, i suggest you go for some more dylan moran and tommy tiernan
Fun fact: Dara O'Briain has a degree in astrophysics.
Biggest myth
He actually studied mathematics and theoretical physics at University College Dublin.
He has co-presented astronomy programmes with Professor Brian Cox on television though.
its not actually rabbits it was probably an irish Hare and actuallly they are loads at the airport its a real hotspot for them for some reason.Obviously there is plenty of grass and livestock is not allowed.
Yes, definitely a hare.
THEY ARE PRACTICING HOW TO OUTRUN THE PLANES ..
If you can find Dara OBriains stand up where he compares the catholic and Protestant congregation saying the Lord’s Prayer at a mixed marriage ceremony it is brilliant.
As a product of a Irish mixed marriage, I resent having my people made mockery of 😬
On the topic though, I went to an Anglican school but half the pupils were Catholic. Every day after assembly the headmaster would lead the school in the Lord’s Prayer. All the Catholics would say it really loudly and then stop suddenly where the Catholic version ended. Some of the Protestants would join in for extra comedic effect. We never tired of the hilarity of seeing the headmaster’s angry face in six years. 😂
@@Dreyno That sounds horrible, I hope it was a long time ago..
@@HenrikJansson78 Why would it be “horrible”?
@@Dreyno Well. I'm not a big fan of religious brainwashing. And I'm an even lesser fan if it's state sponsored.
Lol ..They're not rabbits, they're Hares .. and they live there.
Ease up on him; he's hareless.
I love Dara's take on video games, it's one of his most active bits in stand up
would love more Dara O'Briain. He's brilliant :)

Ó Briain is an Irish language surname. That's why it's pronounced Oh-Breen. O'Brien is just the anglicized version of the surname. If you want a good Irish comedian skit, look up How Ireland Dealt With Lunatics by Tommy Tiernan.
Funniest Dara O'Briain sketch ever (and that's saying something) is the virtuality reality one 🤣
I’m Irish, your more them welcome to say you are too
But he isnt hes American his parents are American his grand parents are American. If his dad was irish I could understand it
My mom and dad were both Irish, I’m not Irish.
Oh are you the guy who decides on who can call themselves Irish? I know a few guys who might like a word with you.
If its Dara, its good. (And, his last name is not O'Brien, its O'Briain - "O'_Bree_an_")
His name is O 'Brien in English. O 'Briain is the Irish version. I should know, its my name too
That's not the point really, he calls himself Dara Ò Briain. Nobody would know who you were talking about if you said you went to see Dara O'Brien
@TheIrishRanger7 this still doesn't change a single thing I said in my comment though 😉
@@padawan9127 Yeah, your comment is as irrelevant now as it ever was.
@TheIrishRanger7 no, just factual and educational. Bye now, I'm off to continue being happy. You can stay being sour. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I won't be back either. Enjoy bitterness 😆😆
To be fair, I've seen rabbits on the Dublin runway multiple times in my life. The most recent was 2 months ago getting a flight to france.
I'm laughing more at your little laughs coming through his flow of jokes. Best part was you putting your hand when he asked who's Irish.😂😂
Missed opportunity to call it O Hare airport 😂 pity it was already taken 😂
Dara O'Briain pronounced O'Breean.
Not Leia but Mon Mothma the leader of the Rebel Alliance.
I always get a laugh when I see Dara O'Briain and Comedian in the same sentence.
Hard to beat brendan grace a legend in irish comedy ❤
Bottler :)
THE BEST!! could do humour without swearing
Give me a big enough stick and I would-
Speaking of Ireland, it would be great if you could watch some episodes of Father Ted for the channel
Down with this sort of thing!
@@dessy-cs9ws Careful now.
Wasn't Princess Leia he was talking about, it was Mon Mothma, played at the time by Caroline Blakiston who is actually a brilliant British Actress, who had a bit of a ham moment it has to be admitted. Dara however is brilliant all the time.
I know how sad that scene is but I have to say Dara O'Briain nails the Irish sense of humour perfectly in that clip, yes I'm Irish as well
There's lots of rabbits around Dublin airport.
Just so you know his name is pronounced "bree-an" don't ask how it's pronounced like that... Because my name is pronounced exactly the same but is spelt Breian... Both are Irish versions of Brian
Huge fan of Dara's stand-up. You can basically watch any bit from him and be guaranteed a laugh - he's just brilliant 😄
Yes, peoples' emotional reactions can be weird sometimes:
I was in a cinema theatre watching Francis Ford Coppola's brilliant "Apocalypse Now".
There is that scene when a whole bunch of Vietnamese fishermen thought to be Vietcongs get gunned down at point blank by the American soldiers. A young Vietnamese girl goes towards a barrel and ... gets shot too. The audience is "dead" (if I may say so) silent.
The soldier opens the barrel and ... pulls a puppy out of it. The puppy goes "yip" ... and the entire audience goes "ooooooooooooooooooooh" ...
Never take it for granted that people will feel more for you than for a dog!!! :o(
1:03 pov; ur actually a sound and normal american
Irish Hares actually, loads at the Airport, they were actually there first, long term car park full of them
"O'_Bree_an not Brian
Not on my list of comics, but seems to have a big following here.
A castle, if they looked out the other side they would of seen a lot more. Only 29,999 more castles to go.
People in the Waterford/Wexford region speak just like people from the Newfoundland South Shore.

A very funny man 😊
Pronounced Dahra O'Breein
People who believe in Homeopathy and the Catholic Church was hilarious 🤣
Talk about a missed opportunity.
"DON''T YOU HAVE RABBITS IN AMERICA!!!!"
The grass is truly greener in Ireland.
Just a shame Ireland has achieved F all, except covering up the murder of children.
His name is pronounced o'bre-in
We do not claim him
I'm guilty as charged I stop The Lord's Prayer... well I was taught it over 70 years ago, it's hard to break the habit for sure.. Of course it is now said in Catholic Church too, but us oldies still stop short.
Oh boy! you are mixing up Leia with Mon Mothma who gave the speech. -10 nerd points for you!
O'BRIAIN is pronounced O BREEN not O BRIAN.
Have no clue what he's talking about with the Star Wars thing . Never seen any of them .
is it not O-BRE-IN?
If you're going to evqluate someone's performance, at keast pronounce their name correctly.
IF YOU LIKE HIM YOU WILL LIKE TOMMY TIRENA .
No you wouldn’t
You ruined it. I have to look this comedian up.
If your ancestors are Irish you are Irish. BTW the Irish are super sentimental.
Nope. If you go to Ireland with a heavy American accent and claim to be Irish they'll either take the piss out of you or use the opportunity to absolutely fleece you by selling you absolutely 100% genuine relics of St. Patrick.
