I think Hyundai did a great job putting this on a truck bed with an established track record. Well thought out interior. At a mid 40's entry point, they would sell very well in the US.

No the engine has been well insulated for heat and it’s currently available in my dealership outlet in Sacramento kindly let me know if you’re still interested in having one it’s in limited units ...
At the prices mentioned this would be a hit with the campervan crowd. The interior is promising. I have an 18foot Chinook Futura billed as "The Sportscar of Motorhomes" and I can say for the Hyundai the ground clearance is too low and the engine undersized. You do have to go slow in a motorhome and imprecise steering can make it a chore but a loaded RV even a little one needs healthy horse power and a solid transmission (preferably with a cooler option) or will succumb to the rigors of mountain passes in a very short time. Personally not a fan of anything with a slide out but the drop down cab over bed is brilliant.
Thank you for watching our motorhome review from Hyundai. Thanks jhare18. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Vent'd seat is probably needed when sitting on top of the engine for 10h drive. How was vibration when driving? Airbags? Will be good to add a rear camera to assist parking and avoid the bushes/branches/rocks on many camping sites, as sensors are not meant to alert those. Nice review, thanks!

The 2021 Porest you presented in the 18 minute video, which model was that? Looks as if it can sleep 6. How much does this model cost? How much does the 2021 entry model cost ( does the entry model sleep just 2?). Can you please provide the name of a Hyundai dealer in Seoul? Thanks
The Hyundai Porest Deluxe model, which will go (no intern. pricing given yet) direct conversion about $68K USD. Thanks. In Korea, you can go to any Hyundai dealer and order one. Thanks.
Needs a few upgrades. Generator, tankless hot water. An alternative to class b , and less expensive. Also need front wheel drive and rear camera with image on rear view mirror.

Are all these hydraulics not a disaster waiting to happen? And what about the engine. Don't you get fumes in the interior? And isn't it to weak for the vehicle?
Well, it's got 2.5L Diesel, it's not fast, but it pulls this motorhome quite nicely. Thanks elwood. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

Nice motorhome. I understand that they are using their pick up/ truck chassis, but I prefer to have a better and direct access from the cab to the back of the motorhome without hopping over the middle part that is located between passenger seat and the driver seat. There are still room for improvement such as rotating driver and passenger seat, reconfigure set up with an additional captain seat for 3rd and 4th passenger. Foot parking break instead of hand break. Want to see this with improvements in north america. Cheers.
Yes, i hope Hyundai will decide to bring this 1st motorhome to N. America. Thanks for tuning in. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
In America I would call this a Class B+ motor home, not a camper, which we would consider as something that is pulled, not driven. Does Hyundai have any plans on doing any Durability test here in California City, California.
Wow, not C segment? Thanks Jaemes for watching our motorhome review. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
What’s the netto and the maximum weight? Nice to have 4 seat, sleep 4 but you need also to thinks about clothes. What the heating system? Based on Diesel or Gas? What’s about Winter capabilities? A/C is nice but don’t like to freeze during Winter Camping. Does it have optional 3 Point Safety Belts? Otherwise it can’t be use for 4 in Europe :‘(
Hey Charlie, did Hyundai give you any specs on the battery and onboard charger specs? I wonder if they took it from a plug-in Hybrid or if it’s only made for this. It seems pretty cool though, to me it’s only missing a gas stove.
No they didn't give us information about onboard charger. I think they batteries are only for appliances. Thanks sergiogon for watching our 1st camping car review from Hyundai.

well, there are many cab-over trucks around the world. It just makes very compact design. Thanks Steve. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
The only issue is that 133 hp engine and governed at 110 km/h, low ground clearance, this model is $70+k plus options, and max cargo payload is only 200kg. Fresh and grey tank at 80L each (21 gallon) is on the smaller end of the spectrum. So, don't worry about whether it is going to be called Poorest or Forest because not likely to be sold in NA.
Do you know the water tank capacity? You mention hot and cold water, what heats the water, gas or electricity? Toilet cassette capacity? How many watts does it take to run the air conditioner? Sorry so many questions, but they all pertain to the functionality of it. Is there a 4 wheel drive porter? That would sell in the US if it wasn't to expensive.
Well, thank you so much for tuning in and watching our motorhome review from Hyundai. Well, to be honest, i am not a camping car expert. And on the press kit, Hyundai didn't give us detail information, so i am sorry i can not answer your questions. Thank you.
Sleeps 6. Wow, great use of space. For that size and price, I can bring my own cook top. Can't wait for it to hit the USA market!
A single burner plug in is super inexpensive and stores away super easy. Same thing with small toaster ovens.
I think Hyundai did a great job putting this on a truck bed with an established track record. Well thought out interior. At a mid 40's entry point, they would sell very well in the US.

BRILLIANT! That is all i can say!
Yes, mus31. Hyundai really thought about this 1st motorhome. Thanks.
Any idea about solar upgrade? onboard generator? water storage capacity?
A stylish and cozy home away from home.

I wonder what the Cargo Carrying Capacity is on this rig?
200kg for this model. 350kg for lower trim. So not much.
Sounds like about 400 lbs cargo limit with this model. You could carry 2-3 people and a little food in the fridge. I agree, that's not very good.
Can anyone tell me when will it be available in the US? Can I buy in Korea and then ship it to the US?
Does it have a shower inside because you did not show us.

How long can the aircond last ? 8 hours ? Or more ?
No stove top? Huge oversight for a family camper.
Yes, no stove on this motorhome from Hyundai. I think Hyundai will at least add an electric one. Thank you.

Asian Petrolhead That’s a shame that Hyundai has no plans of selling in the US market. It probably would sell out in the first month.

I was a bit confused, if it has a shower in the washroom, how do you keep the toilet paper and the interior of the cabinets from getting wet?
Other than that I love the RV!
Just like any wet bath. There should be a place to stash it.
It's called a "wet bath". You have to dry everything off. Or get creative & install a shower curtain to keep toilet & sink dry.
Who’s here from Scotty Kilmer?

The only issue is that 133 hp engine and governed at 110 km/h, low ground clearance, this model is $70+k plus options, and max cargo payload is only 200kg. Fresh and grey tank at 80L each (21 gallon) is on the smaller end of the spectrum. So, don't worry about whether it is going to be called Poorest or Forest because not likely to be sold in NA.
Yes, definitely gonna need a new name. Thanks Chung. And if you love cars and car reviews, please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Thank you.
