Spotted Moray Eel On the HUNT Cane Bay, USVI Oct 2021

After my swim this morning, I was snorkeling over the shallow reef in Cane Bay when a moray eel swam right under me. I whipped out my GoPro and started filming. I got several minutes of it swimming in search of prey. Eels are carnivorous, and usually hunt at night. It's rare to see one out swimming like this during the day. Maybe he didn't catch much last night and was still hungry. Anyway, I got footage of him swimming around looking in holes and crevices until he catches a fish! It's pretty aggressive the way he gets the fish, but must be effective. In-JOY!
