It's inspiring to hear about his journey and how he was able to overcome obstacles and achieve his goals. I agree, his music and story are truly captivating. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed giving his music a listen
My passed relationships have taught me that not everyone you meet is meant to stay in your life forever. Some people we meet in our lives are meant to teach us things and make great memories with us but not to be there forever and that’s okay. I think if you can become comfortable with accepting that even when things end the time you shared is still very valuable and meaningful, and that it simply wasn’t meant to last forever.
It's true that not all the people we meet in life will stay with us forever, and that's completely normal. The experiences and memories we make with people can still hold great value and meaning, even if the relationship doesn't last. Accepting this can help us to focus on the positive aspects of our relationships and to cherish the time we have with others, rather than feeling disappointment or sadness when things come to an end. It's great that you have learned this lesson and are able to appreciate the value of your past relationships.

A little sad that this is your first Joji experience as tbh he makes better individual songs than projects, and he does have better albums but still, I did like this project. Can't wait to see what's next!
at least it was a positive first experience haha i got similar comments about how MMBS was a weird intro to kendrick, but i dont feel like it has made a huge impact on how i feel abt him as an artist! curious to hear how you think order matters for joji tho?
@@pathreacts i don't think here the order matters. I agree with prodbyLVR that joji makes very nice individual songs but his albums as a whole are meh. I just go and like the songs I vibe with and move on haha
@@pathreacts well to me I feel like SMITHEREENS was a step down from the level of cohesion in his previous albums (although that's not saying much), and I think that does hurt him a little when you look at his discography as a whole. Starting with SMITHEREENS hurts because I truly believe it's not his best and personal it's might leave a lasting impression that he isn't a great artist, because he does have better LPs I feel like I'm coming across a little harsh xD so I'll just say that I really really enjoy Joji and have over the years, and as a fan it has kinda made me a little critical of him as an artist.
I reccomend In Rainbows by Radiohead. Feeling Like The End is inspired by one of the songs on that album (won't spoil which one) but it's a really beautiful album.
You need to listen to Little Simz, she’s the best rapper out of the UK right now (as said by Kendrick himself on a radio interview). JID has also bigged her up recently. I’d highly recommend “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert”, probably the best rap album of 2021

I swear Joji is following my life. He seems to release the most heart breaking, poignant songs/singles/albums right when my life seems to take that turn. Why Joji, why?!?! 😭

These are real reactions with real golden words and real critics. Your edits are so smooth and professional. You really deserve more than 80k subs.
I just went through a breakup and the songs on this album hit really hard. Glimpse of us makes me tear up listening to it because I made a video of her and I to that song. Die for you also hit really hard too because it's such selfless song for someone to write. Crazy how much music can resonate with us humans! Feedback: you should leave the text on the screen a bit longer as it goes off quicker than I can fully read it :) this was a really nice watch though!
certified Joji fanboy here and i strongly recommend listening to his discography in chronological order from In Tongues to Nectar. I think it best showcases his incredible growth as an artist and makes you realllllly appreciate Nectar as his magnum opus. Joji is incredible and im glad u loved this album bc, as much as i loved it and love joji, i was severely disappointed in how lackluster this album was. in a way, maybe it was best that you started with this because you had no expectations for what joji "should be" going into this album.
You definitely have to listen to Jojis other albums as well. I know you asked if he produced, most of the songs from In Tongues and Ballads 1 were almost entirely by him both production and writing. With Nectar he started to open up to working with more artists and producers and now with Smithereens he has had a lot of external influences and collaboration
idk how to describe how i feel for smithereens, songs like glimpse of us and die for you are some of my favorite songs in general but a lot of the rest of the album felt somewhat unfinished? I love joji's voice and the topic of the album as a whole but it just felt like some songs needed more time, also something a past relationship taught me was that i really need to learn to say no to people and im unfortnately too forgiving
This video is a perfect reaction video. You provide valuable input into the lyrics and the instrumentals in the songs. Not just a lazy exaggerated reaction video like most.
My last relationship definitely taught me to have a kinder, more accepting relationship towards myself. Before that I really allowed myself to get treated terribly, without standards or boundaries. I really like this video, it's nice to hear your thoughts on each track. Die For You got me too
This is more like an EP but if this is Joji's sound right now I really want a full length album. This Joji is deferent than what we have seen in the past. I cannot also ignore the fact this album ended way too fast.
I just got out of breakup about month ago and it didn’t hit me as hard at first cause we were on winter break so I didn’t have to see her. But when we got back, I saw her and then she gave me back everything. All the gifts, the hoodies, the clothes.. it all just got me that this is over. It’s still hard. I try and keep my head down in the halls cause I’m scared to see her, but I’m working through my problems. I’ve learned from my past relationships that I’m extremely loyal and sympathetic. I hate yelling and it takes a lot for me to get into an argument. But I’m also very sensitive and that can be good and horrible. At the start of the relationship I was also jealous, and that was because I didn’t have the self confidence to believe that she could only love me. But I’ve started working out, eating healthy, fixing my sleep schedule, just bettering myself as much as I can cause when I get into another relationship, I want to be ready. Things may have not worked out for this one but I’m ok. And I’m getting better! I hope you are too! I hope anyone who reads this is doing ok. Mental health is very important so always focus on it and put yourself first. You matter the most.
I've been out of a relationship for 3 months now, and constantly hearing these songs make me hurt so much, yet I can't help but want to listen to them. I really appreciate music that can make me feel this way.
Joji songs are something you’ll definitely enjoy, you can take his music and have your own perspective on the lyrics. Let the beat carry the song too. Love the reaction
9:51 im far more capable of loving someone than i thought i was im so glad i found your channel! joji has been one of my favorite artists for so long and im glad you appreciated this album as much as i did, much love 🫶
Can't help but think of James Blake's You're Too Precious during NIGHT RIDER's refrain, both because of the lyrics but also the way the vocal sounds. Gets me longing for a collaboration between the two, the unexpected collab like Joji x Bonobo that actually came to fruition
This album is phenomenal, it's literally what every guy dreads and that's what makes it so emotional. Only Joji has the ability to make even single people feel like they experienced fifteen consecutive breakups. I'm so proud of seeing his career spike in such a positive way from his TH-cam days to his music career.

a music mukbang, genius description. this is the kind of content i'm trying to look for.
I swear Joji is following my life. He seems to release the most heart breaking, poignant songs/singles/albums right when my life seems to take that turn. Why Joji, why?!?! 😭
I think your reactions actually help me appreciate songs i use to not enjoy as much… Thanks!
Omg you're so gorgeous.
Your voice, your analysing, your explaining. I can't get out your channel. The albums you choose, the way you hear every single instrument and the way your honest. These are real reactions with real golden words and real critics. Your edits are so smooth and professional. You really deserve more than 80k subs.
I cant explain with words the first time I heard Die For You. I had the same reaction as you and the song just felt right.
I'd recommend Nectar from Joji! I think it has really good pieces, especially Sanctuary
Bro you forgot the legendary Chloe burbank
path your reactions are always so smart and emotionally intelegent
idk how to describe how i feel for smithereens, songs like glimpse of us and die for you are some of my favorite songs in general but a lot of the rest of the album felt somewhat unfinished? I love joji's voice and the topic of the album as a whole but it just felt like some songs needed more time, also something a past relationship taught me was that i really need to learn to say no to people and im unfortnately too forgiving
Been listening to joji since he was pink guy/filthyfrank. Loved this new album, my fav song from it is Dissolve :) Loved the reaction!
Die For You got me too
die for you hits really hard.
This is more like an EP but if this is Joji's sound right now I really want a full length album. This Joji is deferent than what we have seen in the past. I cannot also ignore the fact this album ended way too fast.
I cried along with you at Die for You..............
really excited to see your reaction to Nectar!
Nothing makes me happier than the Goat’s noti🐐
BROOO I OUT LOUD YELLED AT YOU NOT TO CRY NOW HERE WE ARE BOTH CRYING! 😂😭
GOODMORNING AND I LOVE JOJI YAY
I've been out of a relationship for 3 months now, and constantly hearing these songs make me hurt so much, yet I can't help but want to listen to them. I really appreciate music that can make me feel this way.
Joji songs are something you’ll definitely enjoy, you can take his music and have your own perspective on the lyrics. Let the beat carry the song too. Love the reaction
you should react the nectar album by joji, you would love it.
This was an unexpected but welcome suprise in my subscription feed, I'm glad that you enjoyed the album as much as I did
Can't wait for another joji's album reaction from you !! love this one sm !! :))
9:51 im far more capable of loving someone than i thought i was
im so glad i found your channel! joji has been one of my favorite artists for so long and im glad you appreciated this album as much as i did, much love 🫶
Can't help but think of James Blake's You're Too Precious during NIGHT RIDER's refrain, both because of the lyrics but also the way the vocal sounds. Gets me longing for a collaboration between the two, the unexpected collab like Joji x Bonobo that actually came to fruition
You need to do 'I didn't mean to haunt you' by Quadeca
YESSSSS
hearing your voice really makes me addicted, to be honest your sound is charming❤
This album is phenomenal, it's literally what every guy dreads and that's what makes it so emotional. Only Joji has the ability to make even single people feel like they experienced fifteen consecutive breakups. I'm so proud of seeing his career spike in such a positive way from his TH-cam days to his music career.
O yeah I’ve been waiting for this. Fire video btw🔥
The album is really good I loved it
