path, no matter how many times I've listened to an album there is something about your videos that make me feel like I'm listening to it for the first time again and it's something I can't thank you enough for. I'm not sure why it is either. Blonde is my favorite and most listened to album (6,022 minutes as of today) and you somehow managed to make it feel new, even though it wasn't one of your favorites. Same goes every Kendrick album you've listened to, thank you again :D
thanks for listening to this. im currently going through a really tough break up and blonde is one of my favourite albums of all time. this made me happy, thanks for that.
I feel you. I listened to this album (which is also one of my all time favorites) during my breakup with my first love , months ago. It was a rough time, and I still think about it when I hear these songs, but you’re going to get through this. Let the emotions take over when you need. I believe in you.
I feel like Blonde is an important album for a lot of people to listen to, not because frank fans (me hehe) scream how its the best thing ever, but more so because... there's something in this album we all can relate to. I feel like the tracklisting reminds me of DAMN. in how mirrored it is and how both Frank and Kendrick touch on really deep feelings most artists either dont talk about or dont dig as deep. I feel like if Blonde could have another title, it would be Bittersweet. Its the saddest sweetest piece of art I've ever listened to. Thanks path, i waited for this reaction since i subbed when u dropped the Mr Morale reaction and u didnt disappoint
It’s all the small details that keeps me locked into ur content. The fact every cut in the video keeps the rhythm of the song going, the very faint green light that flashes to the music on the left side of the screen, the voiceover with connections, or facts, or theories you found or thought of post first listen. There’s really no one out doing this shit like you are 👏👏👏
i’m glad that “All the things i didn’t mean to say, didn’t mean to do, there were things you didn’t need to say, did you mean to?” hit you hard too, those are some of his most heart wrenching lyrics imo
i might never hear a new frank album but seeing and hearing someone else experiencing through his creative vision for the first time, that's something that makes me inexplicably happy. great video as always path!
the thing with this album is it grows on you so hard like a parisyte. when I first listened to it I didn't enjoy it so much but now its my favorite album of all time. i even spent tons of money on the vinyl.
While I really loved the album on my first listen you’re right it definitely grows on you. Songs I wasn’t super in love with at first like Nikes have become one of my favorites off the album. Truly a masterpiece and I wish more of Frank’s work was easier to own on vinyl. This is the easiest of his albums to find 😭
By the way, the edit in this video, THE EDIT, wow, I’ll never stop saying this for your videos, Path, it has struck me for how incredible it is from the very first time I’ve watched the Mr morale reaction, but your editing style is such a form of art. I see, and appreciate this as a form of self expression and genuine passion for music. It’s such a breath of fresh air. It’s a blessing to know that there are still people like you, out there, that care. Thank you so much.
YOU DONT KNOW HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY LETS GOO. I’ve always appreciated the formula you’ve used for these reaction videos. It’s provides another level of introspection that you can’t really get from other reactors. Great job you deserve so much more recognition in this space

such a beautiful project. An very important album to me. Very nice editing this reaction video (actually every one on ur channel) feels way easier to watch than other reaction videos from other creators 🙏

So glad this finally came out, will now patiently wait for Igor and Call me if you get lost haha. Blonde came out around the time I was getting into Frank Ocean so its a pretty special album for me, and nights was on repeat for months, I still listen to it all the time actually.
Listening to this brought me all the way back to 2016 when I was really really going thru it - the happiest of times and the lowest of times. And this album is so intertwined with them. Thanks so much pathie for providing your genuine first reaction to this and letting me somewhat relive the moment when this album came out fresh and absolutely blindsided me. ❤
Seigfried is my favorite song of his. Unfortunately this was me and my ex’s song, couldn’t even mourn to it after the breakup. This was the first time I heard even a second of it since. Such a beautiful song. Anyways, I’ve watched you since you started and won’t stop, thank you for your great analyses and conversations.
I describe this record almost like it’s a series of dreams or Frank going through different emotions and we’re experiencing how these emotions play out in his head. It sort of helps explain why the record feels so schizophrenic and unpredictable.
This album changed me in the most confusing ways. I will never get over the nostalgia in each and every song on this album. I love this album with my life. Im scared to go into college and leave everyone and listening to Blonde brings me back to my childhood but I cry every time 😅
I really enjoyed listening to Frank Ocean's album "Blond" again, only, it's with you this time, path. I felt like I was rediscovering my bisexuality, my sence of self and in a way, my spirituality when I was listening to this beautiful album. It was like getting emotional with a good friend. (You). Love you and the vida you do. You're an inspiration to me to be better than i am. Thank you so much. 🧘🏿♂️🫶🏿🎧🎼🤍
Oh dang you should also react to James Blake!!! His early stuff is so iconic and its interesting to see how hes branched into influencing so much music across the entire industry
this album will forever be a classic for me, the production is amazing, the feelings switching through each song from start to finish make me so emotional, just endlessly love it.
Pink+White is just fun to drive to. When it popped up on my playlist on my way back from work, driving through those mountains after a bad day, the sound just relaxed me. Can't explain how but maybe because the song plus the sunset put me at ease
I agree with your thought on nikes and the lyrics I always hurt when I hear someone talk about taking another’s lover as someone deeply in love Its honestly such an evil thing to do
Yoooooo, i predicted right! Edit: Just read your path seeker post about the album. Don't feel bad for not liking it as much as people want you to. I still remember disliking the album on the first few listens and i think thats an experience that many fans share, because the album is just so different. It grew on me a few years later. And even if this doesn't happen for you, so be it! :) I imagine the pressure to reacting to this album must have been insane.

There’s only been a few albums where after listening I was slightly upset with myself for not listening to it sooner despite knowing it existed. Summer 2018 at around 1 AM was the first time I randomly listened to this album. I was immediately struck by its honest and uncovering of the lies about an troglodytic way of living. Which is the story of 'Blonde', and the life of everyone who relates to it. I think that’s the most beautiful aspect of this album; it captures the thoughts and feelings of an entire generation and this is something I’ve only come to realize recently.
