Giants are wild in Warmaster. Those two lads just ran off the table. It's the first time I have seen not one but two giants go on a jolly adventure. Every few turns a unit of imperial knights gets mauled, and afterwards a new one joins the fight. The initial cavalry clash was bloody, but that broke a lot of orc cavalry power. The imperial cannons went unmolested the entire battle. I thought the ork heavy infantry would be able to take the walls of the shrine, but now they just got battered by wave after wave of knights.
Thank you for sharong another great game with us, I always get excited when I see you've released another. You also were the catalyst in getting a small local group in my area playing Warmaster, so thank you for that as well.
Thank you! I needed something positive for this year. Although, I am very disappointed with those giants. That could have been enough force to swing the battle.
Hey Ian. I’m confused. I thought that when you made a failure with a hero (as when the hero failed with the giant ). How did he roll another command with the second giant? Maybe I missed something in listening.
You can order both giants together as a brigade but roll separately to see what they do when it goes wrong. In turn 3 it was the hero and the general ordering them separately.
Great battlereport, with (once again) excellent narration. Loving these, already looking forward to the next! And have a happy new year, may 2023 be filled with mucho hobby goodness for you and your buddies!

Love the Thundercat theme at the end! Also the fact that this is based in Averland the best of the Empire as everyone knows.
