Best toy find in my mom's closet: Bild Lily doll- 11 inches- $1600 Best toy find at thrift stores: Barbie Vehicles & GI Joe Commander Around $120-220 each.
Since you asked, my best toy find was a bin of old 1999 Thomas Wooden Railway Clickety Clack Track, with locomotives as well, these I keep, I’m a hardcore Thomas collector!!
My husband was a toy collector back in the 90's. Now we need to get rid of all of them. Would I be better off selling them in groups or individuals. They are still on the cards. Mostly hot wheels and a few action figures.
I recently picked up a Bag of vintage toys that was in a Charity Shop (Thrift Shop) for £2 it had a lot Dino Riders figures in it and some old Ghostbusters Figures dating from the 1980s. Some of the Dino Riders sell for £10 on there own so its a big win for me.
I'd like to learn alot about toys and Plush... can you direct me on what to buy to figure those two out? thank you loving the toy videos. very knowledgeable.. and you guys are very easy to learn from and listen to. great job!!
And 3 years later, Trackmasters have become really oversaturated… except the rarest models. Worse is that it seems like only new sellers are sourcing them, and they have no clue how to determine fair market… so they’re looking at the lowest price it’s ever sold for and pricing under it- even if that model isn’t working. Which results in the whole market being tanked. Fair market is the price an item has sold for the THE MOST. Some sellers price below or above fair market but you have to actually know how to determine fair marke first. If a ton of TH-camrs were doing videos on toys it would probably be fine. Like clothes,- there’s a ton of sellers out there with videos With bolos… I generally don’t begrudge a bolo on YT bc there’s so many. But basically if someone wants to sell toys, they’ve watched this video- which results in a lot of bolos being retired bc they aren’t very good anymore. It’s really sad and has affected my business as well.
My area sucks for toys. Live in TX and don’t have Savers, and my local Goodwill and other thrift stores don’t even have bags of toys. I don’t know where the heck they send them because I live in a suburb of Dallas full of young families. Makes no sense.
When I was a kid I was a part of SOOO many fandoms and bought a bunch of merch for each (i.e. Cars, Toy Story, HotWheels) and I don’t use the stuff, and though I did get really ticked off, cause I’m a hard core Thomas fan and the words you used were extremely off, I get it, really helpful video nonetheless!!!
Unless you have something super rare and sought after you should do buy it now with best offer. If something has 20 similar items listed and you want to list one more often than not buyer would rather not wait for your auction to end. I have seen a lot of good items cheap go NO Sale because people don’t bid on auctions unless something is really hard to get (normally, obviously there are always exceptions)
Hello Steve and Vinnie. Great video. Q: I BOUGHT YOUR TOYS AND GAMES EBOOK PACKAGE- WELL DONE, VERY INFORMATIVE. I've found quite a few of the games and toy sets like Legos Ninjago, Catan games and various puzzles etc. I've been nervous about selling some of them because I've found that quite a few of the bags have been opened inside the boxes. I'm not sure if things are missing or not. Q1: do you count the pieces to see if they are all there or create a death pile with them? Q2: Do you sell them anyway with a disclaimer that you have NOT counted them and pieces may be missing? If YES to Q2, should I worry about a high rate of returns? I offer free returns to oblige the eBay requirements for Top Rated Seller Status. Help Please. Thanks.
I have one rule well sourcing. Never buy anything diecast, ever again! Took a risk once and bought a full box of vintage Racing Champions. diecast still in package. The amount on shipping work for the return just isn't there, for me at least.

Sounds like you really hit the jack pot with that one!
Because of your videos with Vinny, I knew to pick up two collections of the Disney Pixar Planes with 10 or more in each. I sold each set for $90 each.

Watch out for bent wheel rods on those monster trucks. I would say over 50% of those I find have damages to the wheels.
For real... in nice shape these are cool but seems like most are bent
Also many have ripped sticker graphics.

That's crazy! Have you tried yard sales? Sometimes you can score big at those!
Do u do bid listing starting 0.99?
Hey guys
I have 3 big plastic hot wheels with a driver inside them...what are they called, they are from 2009...
Hi you too! xx Q4 coming - hope your both working hard xx Love from Jo, UK.
Always!
I don’t mean to sound disparaging but didn’t we just see a video with this footage like 6-8 weeks ago?
The first minute was the same footage from the last video but the remainder of the footage. But, he does rehash and reuse a lot of videos.
Yes

How can I get in touch?
Great video, thanks for the tips !
How do you decide if you do a BIN or an auction?
