Gospel of Nicodemus Scroll is the entire Gospel of Nicodemus in a captioned audiobook format
    The Gospel According to Nicodemus
    www.sacred-text...
Witnesses from our approved Holy Bible canon:
    Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
    1 Peter 4:6
For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
    1 Peter 3:19
    By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
    Matthew 27:52
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose
    Matthew 27:53
And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
    Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
    Acts 2:27
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption
    Acts 2:31
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
    Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It clears up a lot doesn't it? It is my belief that the Word of God IE the Holy Spirit inspired Scriptures underwent a mirror image of what Jesus Christ suffered. This is why many of the Sacred texts of the Word were persecuted, scourged, buried, crucified! We are now entering the third spiritual day...Resurrection Day of God's WORD...this is why many of these texts are now being "seen and heard". God Bless you!

Bless Yahushua! This is very inspiring. Yes, with all my heart, I believe.
Those who are judgmental about this book, pray that you might get a light from Yahushua Christ concerning this book. If you do, He will do. Besides, He is our great Father, and He will surely provide anyone who ask Him of His truths.
Thank and bless all of you.
Again, don't spread the seeds of ignorance, and be not arrogant yourself. Be warned, now!

Is it believed in Ethiopia that the Gospel was written Circa mid fourth century CE? IE it is revisionist. Not written by any one who was there at the time. Who do people or Church people (Ministers) ascribe the writting of the text?

@@MikeGreenwood51 I think if your honest with yourself you'll admit the books of the bible old and new testament have gone through the process of editing or as you prefer revisionist reproduction. There are NO original copies of any gospel and all of what we have are reproductions. Yet we all still believe Thank theMost High. Look at what we are told the 5 books Moses wrote, but yet it speaks about his death and things after it? I believe we should read all things (be as wise as the serpent, you must know what he's going about saying/teaching/doing to defend yourself from him) if your not a babe in Christ. Milk ( basic knowledge) is sufficient in the beginning of your walk, but as the apostle John said many many more books about what Jesus did and said could be written, but he gave us enough so that we would believe. IMO a Christian will know by the spirit if what he hears is blasphemous against The Father's will.

The chapters where the saints from Adam's day to Jesus' death and resurrection who were raised from the dead explains more fully the passage in Mathew where it says the graves were opened and the saints came out testifying of Jesus. that's the only Biblical passage where you rad about it. This book reminded me of the book of the Mormon and the skrewtape letters of C S Lewis. It kind of gave me that sense of those patterns. Personally to me, it kind of sounds like the grandpa of modern day religious books, that have tried to replace the scriptures. But what a gumbo of the scriptures this book is!!! Waaoooh!!!
When in doubt of what I hear or read, I go to the source to find the truth. In this case I will go to CHRIST and ask HIM about this writtings, the gospel of Nicodemus.
If any whishes to know the truth about the word of GOD. Is a very good idea to go to GOD and ask HIM our selves. Personally, I make it a habit of going to CHRIST when I hear something about the word of GOD or about anything that concerns the word of GOD. And I verfy with HIM the truth. But that is just me. I could be wrong. But I know that CHRIST will never be wrong and HE will tell me the truth about anything. The voice of CHRIST is unique to the children of GOD. And HIS followers recognize it and follow it. If someone would like to know the truth, please go to CHRIST.
    GOD bless

So many questions, i had about what really happened when our Savior went down into the earth at his death have finally been answered. i was always perplexed as to why Satan allowed Jesus to be crucified and what actually happened as a direct result and even the prince of hell was smart enough to figure it out that Satans countinance was blinded by his hatred lol praise Jesus!! I also never understood that the saints of old were in hell waiting on Jesus! It all makes perfect sense as to why they call it the good news gospel. For lack of a better description...I liken the Holy Bible to a hamburger...and the other texts are the lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, mustard, ketchup, jalapeno peppers, bun... and so on, that make this a deluxe burger. Once you have eaten the supreme deluxe burger, you can never go back to eating simply hamburger alone. No disrespect to the hamburger at all...cant have a deluxe without it!

I used to get confused about that too reading from the Bible. I learned in the Greek and Hebrew there are three different translations for the word hell in the bible. One means the pit or grave, one is where you burn and the other means separation from God. Once you study from the concordance to figure out which translation applies to which passage then everything makes a lot more sense. In this case I'd say it sounds like they are referring to the grave.

  • @jasonfrederick1258
    @jasonfrederick1258 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I listen to these extra books and I am coming to a solemn conclusion.. There is a fundamental difference between these books and those of the standard bible. To me there is a difference between a historically accurate depiction of Christ and an "inspired revelatory" presentation which is meant as an evangelistic and teaching tool. The books of the bible has this uniqueness.. There seems to be a conviction/point of view behind its words...a desire not to convince with abundance of words and details but by the power of revealed truth.
Books can increase learning and knowledge but who can "declare Christ's generation?"
My feeling is that the bible is a book of historical wonder it is not a book like other books are at all. And to think it was preserved by the very system that sort to destroy it. Like Moses was raised and protected by Egypt which he later judged.

The reference to "fornication" has led many astray from the real point: humans were not allowed to "have relations" with Deity. This theme was prevalent throughout the centuries before the Christian era, but became obscured and lost through the sleep of boring repetitions of the Word made Flesh--- Jesus con carnie !!!

I'm wondering if the fact that the apocrypha books were taken out of the king James Bible in 1650 that this would nock out a chunk of years that should be added to fill in the number of years that we maybe should be counting. I'm not saying that's accurate. I'm guessing, but am wondering if that is a possibility.

    • @MikeGreenwood51

They were not taken out as they were never in it. The KJV is a translation of existing texts of the times as the Protestants believed the Catholic book was a corruption or was seriously corrupted. So the scribes set about translating from the Greek. So if the Apocrypha books were not part of the Greek or Catholic then they would be kept separate from the book they called The Bible. But notes in the introduction explains more. The cost of a hand written Bible circa year 1600 was equivalent to the price of a Ferrahri Sports car today. Well beyond the yearly wages of most people. Pre the printing press the size of a enormous bible was considerable. So they may be left in the church and not carried about. Adding 16 more Apocrypha books may have required 3 or 4 monks to work their entire year just to write one copy. But who could afford to buy a copy? What are you wondering if that is possible? King James (1603-1925) is deceased. Charles was in dispute and lost his head so really couldn't give a monkies about what earthlings wonder. 1650 the monarch's head was stuch on a stick or in a basket. So are you really wondering if he could maybe just get of the stick, stick is head back on and order people to add an Apocrypha to his father James translation? And what if he wants to know and who are you? Have you read the entire first Bible yet from beginning to end? Do you support him and are you going to pay the taxes he wants?

This Gospel is actually a piece of New Testament midrash, so it is inspired in the same way the Book of Enoch is, inspite the Book of Enoch not really having been writen by Enoch.

Strange. The number of years given at the end do not add up to 5,500 years as they said, they instead add up to 4,964 years. And how does this account differ from the modern version which says from Adam to Christ was 4,000 years, and from Christ to now is 2,000 years, a total of 6,000 years. Any comments?

Znobyrd the book of Adam says GOD will come after 5500 to redeem Adam, He said that to Adam, so if this is true, CHRIST came at 5500 after Adam became flesh like us...
