I have the ME-80 and really like the pedal. I was a little confused on getting the tones and how to save them but this helped clear that up. I like the clean sound I get from Telecaster modern and my backwoods modded Squire Strat with this user patch. Right now I am using a Crate GX-212 with this pedal and on the clean channel I get nice tones. Down side is that this amp has a lot of white noise. Looking to upgrade but trying to decide between Fender GT-200 or the Champ -100. I like the idea of the GT model but I also like to use foot pedals. So many choices out there now. I have read so much on both these models that it is a toss up. I am an older fart that recently picked up the guitar because I always wanted to play. So much of this is somewhat new to me but have learned to pick though some of the hype over the last three years. Still confusing but this video and a few others you have done help cut through some of that. Thank you!
I have a question about your product. With a normal effects board or digital multi-effects unit, I think you can use three different drive tones, such as "overdrive," "distortion," and "both." But even with equipment like this one, where you make settings by turning knobs, is it possible to use a different drive tone for each patch?
Hi, :) It's not my product. I just create presets and share the settings for free with friends here on TH-cam. For fun really, I like it. :) About your question: Yes. On the ME80 we can have a clean tone (Wah - Compressor - Clean Preamp - Mod - Delay and Reverb) in a patch next to it we can have a preset based on Steve Vai using other effects, and the next an OD SRV style... each patch is like a completely different pedalboard from the other, if we want. There is a link to the playlist in the video description. This device (ME-80) has already advanced to the ME-90, it sounds more realistic (closer to real amps) due to Impulse Response technology. But I have never had this unit in my hands. If you have any questions, please talk to me. Thanks for commenting.
I bet you can dial in the same options and sound effects on the ME-25, since it has roughly the same sound engine. And since this setup doesn't use any of the extremo otions, this should be able to copy on the ME-25.
USB cable directly to computer. Always headphones connected, enabling cabinet simulation and monitoring. I use Yamaha monitors a little while I'm in the patch programming phase as they deliver an excellent reference. Edit: See the other Me80 videos, I always demonstrate the sound, then the connections used and then the settings used: th-cam.com/play/PLrxXQYEp-_ujVyldjsvpJ4QtyxvkFoc0V.html / Thanks bro!
GREAT!!! I have an ME-80 and this is very handy for me, thank you! Can we get an organ type of sound with the me-80?? Or as close as possible to one?? Thanks again
Hello. I' Marco from Aosta (Italy) I have some questions: Can I use the Delay tap tempo in the Memoy mode? The tap tempo is global of for patch? In example if I tap a tempo of 100 bpm and i change patch with another delay, the TT remain the same 100? The ME 80 is a good piece of kit! I need one. Thank you.
Hi Marco! The Tap Tempo can also be added by patch. I have several videos like that. See our playlist. th-cam.com/play/PLrxXQYEp-_ujVyldjsvpJ4QtyxvkFoc0V.html // If the doubt persists, talk to me here.
i'm not feeling the preamp section, from what i've heard. the other fx sound great tho. i think putting a sans amp after the me80 would be better. we'll see. i'm about to pick one up tomorrow and do a review on it LOL. thx for the demo tho, gave me a good idea of the pros & cons of this unit!!
When you are a editing a preset patch (whether factory or user created) how do you know you what’s already on the patch. I mean, the device will tell you which category of effects the patch uses… but how do you figure which effect within the category is actually on. Thanks.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar I presume that it will tell you - for example - that the Mod patch is on. But how do you know whether it is Chorus, Tremolo or Flanger or something else within the Mod Category. There’s no light there right.
Hello Kray... Great Oziel is Zoom's endorsee. You should have this patch on his channel. If don't have, he is a good person and will send you. I'm a fan of the work he performs. Thanks bro!

Newbie question: is it possible to connect studio monitors directly to the ME-80?
Thanks bro! Yes, the Me80 is a USB interface and you can connect studio monitors directly to the L/R output.
Show,no canal tem algum tutorial explicando como desligar um dos preamp da Gt100 pelo phrase loop ou ctl?
Great! can these patches runa also on the ME 25? Thanks in advance

By positioning the knob. Note that in "MOD" there is the Phaser in the first position, then the Flanger, Tremolo and so on.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar Yes. Thanks.
