I have a Strat Standard USA and a Fender Squier Classic Vibe 50s 2 fenders FM212 and Boss ME 80 I found my sound. And as a Shadows fan as long as I live I won't change anything unless an amplifier breaks, but I still have one in reserve. Fender and Boss that go together to make good music.
Thank you for the extremely easy instructional format. It would be easier if I could just download a "patch," but your tutorial helps me understand my ME 80 better. Thanks. I will be contributing to your efforts. As a side note, how long does it take you to fiddle with this unit to arrive at these patches? It's not an intuitive process. Bravo to you!

I don't take long to make the patches because I have known the ways to do this for so many years. For example: For a John Mayer clean tone I follow the path Comp / Clean Preamp + Cab / Spring Reverb. For JM overdrive sound, TS OD / Clean Preamp + Cab / Reverb. This works for all multi-effects and stomp pedals. :) I experience difficulties when I venture to make guitarist sounds that are not present in my life, because I am not used to the timbres.

Hello my friend, to play live, insert a plug or an adapter into the headphone output. This is the only way to activate the cabinet simulation on the ME-80. From there, the cab simulation is ON, and you can use the L/R outputs or just the L (mono) to send your signal to the mixer or PA system. Si tu Ibanez está en la configuración HSH no sonará igual porque el preset está hecho para Stratocasters con singles en el mástil y el medio. Ni siquiera tiene que ser una Fender, sino una Stratocaster. Tengo listas de reproducción aquí usando SX Strat y Corona Strat y suenan perfectas. Me gusta mucho el Corona e incluso lo uso más que el Fender últimamente. Under Modulation. The chorus effect. I can’t get the chorus to be a stereo effect. It sounds like it’s only in mono. I know cho+delay is in stereo, but is there a way to have the normal chorus in stereo? I believe the Boss Me 70’s chorus was in stereo.

But when I use the chorus effect under the ‘modulation’ pedal, it’s only in mono. Whereas in the ME 70, which I had, the chorus effect was in stereo. My question has nothing to do with your video. Btw. I understand how to set up the patch. This is just a separate question I have. Thanks. 🙏

Hi Timmy... the Me80 chorus used in this video is stereo. You will be able to notice it more easily if you use headphones. Thanks bro!
