Nice to see a semaphore signal at Kuniyoshi station, those must be a bit rare to be seen in Japan today. And again at Kuniyoshi station on the opposite platform what is the man with the yellow box on his head doing?? He is wearing a yellow vest so I guess he might be a railway worker??
American, never been to Japan. Low, tech... rural rail... is so beautiful. I hope one day to ride some of these lines.

上総中野で小湊鉄道が連絡してはいるが、養老渓谷、上総中野の運行数間は極めて少なく不便なのは昔から同じ。高校時代、房総半島横断のを実行するも、養老渓谷止まりの列車と確認せず、大変な目にあった。運賃も高いし！
