I got the free trial up and running and it IMMEDIATELY sounds fantastic! And it will only get better once I find the IR setup I prefer. I love the approach to dialing in the distortion tones with the mids and highs. The layout is simple, and as far as I can tell it doesn't eat up a lot of CPU to run. I'm sure I'm going to wind up purchasing this one! (And let's face it, probably all of the others!)

All of the demos I've seen for this plug-in are modern metal tones. Is the plug-in overkill for standard rock, blues, funk Ampeg-type tones?
Not at all. This plugin is very versatile. Turn down the distortion bands and if you need even cleaner tones, turn down the input gain a little. I'll be making some videos demoing how to get some nice clean tones from this plugin in the near future.

I have it in my cart BUT still on the fence with it, as I'd like to hear more clean tones. 98% of the tutorials I've searched are all distortion.

@@LimewaterMusic true, didn’t get it yet, its either A. They don’t have the time to set up a clean tutorial for potential buyers or B. Can not produce a clean tone worth showing. The World May Never Know.

The jury is still out on this one for me, you can definitely get some good tones out of this plugin especially for the more Proggy Metalcore/Djent stuff and modern Radio Rock, I've been finding though that the Parallel processing thing for bass tends to leave the bass disconnected tone wise, yes you do technically has less low end loss and it doesn't muddy up as much, but it makes the bass sound like 2 different instruments playing the one part if that makes sense. At this point I prefer the B7k plugin more but I think if you had the option to run the lows through the IR section through a bass cab with some light distortion or saturation Parallax would be my go to

Hahaha! I know! The timing might have worked out in your favor since you got the pedal. Now that I have Parallax, I'll probably end up using that on most of my mixes. lol!

Can you get a clean tone with this as well?
Hi Steven, I love your plugins but I use them for mixing purposes, as I am no guitarist or bass player. I already got Darkglass for shaping bass synths and accustic bass sounds. Can you recommend Parallax in addition, especially can it be used as a mixing tool? Does it have a dry - wet option too. I would love to use it as a normal saturation, distortion plugin, like Spectre from Wavesfactory, too. Thank you, happy easter and stay safe and sound.
Hi Steven. I went to your presets folder and tried to drag them into the parallax ap like I do with my Nolly presets but it's not working. Is it different with Parallax or any other thoughts? Thanks for bringing the education content btw.
With this plug-in I wouldn't double track bass which is cool

I just downloaded the trial version and it shows on my plugin list but it never loads on Reaper, the standalone version doesn't load either.
Normally it’s an Ilok issue I had the same problem
@@axelovingguy but it's the trial version, it didn't ask me for anything
Hey! It's Me! - they still give you a licence key for the trial version - create an ilok account and add the live eve key as a new activation. Then run the plugin I. Standalone first to make sure it works
Not a single normal preset, only terrible metal ones?!?
