  • Spiritual teacher Adyashanti explains that silence isn't something seprate from us. Instead, it's another word for what we really are. When we realize we are silence, and everything is a manifestation of that silence (including sound), then we realize the oneness of everything. Explore more at www.eomega.org/workshops/teac...

This makes the most sense to me.....
but who knows......there are over 6 billion people with over 6 billion ways of thinking
& being in addition to infinite spirits in the universe....so it seems to me that everything is important & deserves
    consideration........

oh man, the anger and the fear I get from not being able to figure it out and when I do realize what I have to do, more anger and fear arises and then that makes me more mad over that!! The state of confusion and not knowing what to do is everywhere I go!! I don't know what to do, but I must press on and freedom will be there !

I have watched some of his videos. I like it when he does not talk but just looks out at his audience without saying anything. He looks very calm and perhaps enlightened. I am not sure if he really is or am I just imagining it.

Is silence what is called zero point? All orbiting and revolutions around us while our center is still. All the stuff is discharged from playing it out in life it seems. (either we learn or we get burned out)

I just never heard of the term silence being used as you put it. I am using the literal term for silence, not the one you have defined.

You could say that people like Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle etc, are all fingers pointing to the moon.

If you want to understand what this guys talking about, try deep meditation.
There is place at the "bottom" recognized by all humans around the world and throughout the ages.

(reply to sextronica) Firstly, you are presuming that death is a state in which something can be better achieved than in this very moment. Secondly, one need not achieve silence if ones very nature is silence. And thirdly, could you please pass the butter?
