HI there, thank you so much. I could make a bunch more of them, I love them so much! Thank you for stopping by to watch and chat too, it always makes me happy!
I have a Cameo, if not the original, one of the earlier versions. It's in the box. I keep saying I'm going to pull it out and learn how to do print and cut. I used to use my original Cricut and then Silhouette for papercrafting years ago. Every time I watch one of your videos like this, I say that to myself, and yet, it's still in the box. Maybe 2021 is the year I will actually learn it! I loved the cards you made! Snow very cute! I can tell you definitely know what you are doing with your Cameo. :) Thanks so much for sharing! Happy New Year! Oh and I love that your kiddo got you the Perfect Pearls. So sweet. My daughter bought me some detail embossing powder one year and I still have it, use it, and I kept her little tape tag on it. So special.
OH, I love that embossing powder story. I also got a few die sets, stamp set and a few distress oxide pads I did not have. I love that they are catching on to this line of gift giving more and more!! I challenge you to take on this new tool to learn in 2021! I am sure I will have some more videos with it and that will inspire you and give you ideas. Happy Stamping!!!
Thank you so much Jamie! I love that you added the donuts and coffee to this image and have been wanting to play with it for a while now. They are simple cards for me but the snowman just steals the show! Happy 2021!
Thank you so much! So glad you like these cards, I had so much fun making them with the help of my Cameo Silhouette. Thank you for watching and Happy Stamping!
@@CarrieRhoades Maybe you can help me as I am new and struggling with this machine. I want to make card bases of different sizes. I know how to make the fold line, but how I center it to the card base size? I've tried every align but I don't think I have it set to center in the card, not the sheet. LOL Thank you for any all help you can give me while I still have some hair left on my head. LOL
So adorable. You are really good with your Silhouette. I finally gave mine to my dear friend because I found it to be a lot of work, and it was a nice upgrade for her. Hugs, Julie.
That is a generous gift! I am sure she loved it! I am loving mine for use with digital images. It's like a new found use for it. Thanks for stopping by! Happy 2021!!!
THANKS Jen! So nice to see you pop up in my comments! Congrats on your big milestone yesterday!!! So proud of you. With my new found love of digital stamp and I finding new fun ways to use my Cameo, and am thrilled! Happy Stamping my friend!!!
I’m still struggling with digital stamps but I will not stop trying because I think it’s worth it. Your cards are so stinking cute❤️❤️. Thanks for sharing🙏🏻
One good thing about digital stamps is that you can just print another, or resize it to fit your card. Don't give up and let me know if you have questions. Happy Stamping and TFW!
You always make it SNOW MUCH FUN Carrie! Thank you so very much for ALL the Silhouette tips & tricks. I really need to craft more with my Cameo for sure. I mostly use it for HTV and vinyl projects, making t-shirts, sweatshirts for my hubby and I for the different sports my kids have played throughout school. I'll tune in if you dab into home decor projects. I'd be interested in wall art or vinyl sentiments for my walls. Thanks again and THANK YOU for my prize package, I just got it!!! YOU DA BEST!!!
Thank you SNOW much! My daughter would like to do vinyl on a t-shirt. I have told here we can do that, but between you and me I am a bit nervous about doing it!!! So glad you got your happy mail. I was so slow in getting mail out with everything going on in December. It was my daughters 16th bday, my anniversary, my hubby retired from the military and then all the Christmas things. So we were super busy this month. Glad for a slow week this week. Thanks for watching and for your sweet words! Happy 2021!
@@CarrieRhoades You got this. 2 tips I can offer: 1. Remember to mirror or flip the image before cutting, my cameo even asks after I press send if I want to send it "as is" or "mirror it". 2. When ironing/hot pressing the vinyl onto the fabric, make sure to have the right temperature setting and put "plenty" of pressure, and VOILA!! You'll love it once you try it. =D
Love your beautiful cards! Love that you made them Valentine's Day cards instead of Christmas cards. White Gel pen makes everything better and adds dimension to the images - keep doing it! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent and ideas. :)
OH, thank you so much Julie! I will keep highlighting all the things, hehehehe. So nice of you to watch and leave me such sweet comments. Happy Stamping!
These are so cute. I don’t have a the cameo, but many the way you cut out that snow like a die would was so cool. Your coloring was on point as always. All three cards are super cute.
Thanks girl! I feel so creative when I use my cameo, as I feel like a designer, in a different way. So glad you like the cards. Any sign of happy mail in you PO Box???
This is awesome Carrie! I love the cards and your integration with the Cameo! I actually use my Cameo for more vinyl than cards so you've inspired me to take some things from my library and incorporate them on my cards! Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!
Awesome, I am so glad to hear that! I think I am going to try a bit of vinyl this year, we shall see. So glad you liked the cards and found some inspiration. Thanks for watching and Happy Stamping!
If the blade is ripping the corners you can try a couple things, first you might need a new blade, but if not... try setting the blade depth to a bigger number, up the pressure of the blade and consider having it double cut. If you have good card stock you just might need to have your blade do these extra things for you and then you'll get a better cut. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching!
Hi Bronwyn, yes, you can use the Silhouette to cut out your stamped images. You need the PixScan mat to do so. I have a video of this, you can watch it right here. th-cam.com/video/1RJ-pXKp-gc/w-d-xo.html I love it for when a stamp set does not have a die set to go with. So glad you like these cards, Happy Stamping!
I do not think you can do that with the Cameo Silhouette, only vinyl. At least not the version of the Cameo Silhouette I own. There has to be something behind the card stock for the blade to push against. Vinyl has a backing so that is why it does not need a cutting mat. Sorry I am not much help for you on this. Let know if there is anything else I can help you with.
@@CarrieRhoades Ok no problem. Normally it can be done by the cameo 4 but I'm just having a problem with mine not sure if it's a software issue. Thanks anyway 🤗
I'm always looking for more of your videos using your Silhouette. Thank you. What kind of printer do you have that will pull the heavier cardstock through without a problem?
I am so glad you like the Silhouette videos. I will be doing another at the end of this month. I use an HP Envy 7645, and I use a light weight card stock that comes in a ream from Walmart. It works great for printing and for Copic coloring. I hope that helps. Happy Stamping and Printing! hehehehe.
Hi. Love this video. Have a question about your printer ink... I never use this function on my cricut bc I'm scared my Copics will cause the ink to run since it's not alcohol friendly.... Doesn't look like u had a problem tho?
I was like you, scared at first because I thought I had to have a special printer for this. But I just gave it a go. I have an HP Envy 7645. And I have not had a bleeding issue. Maybe just give it a go and see what happens, it might turn out good? So glad you like the video and found it helpful even with a different machine. Thanks for stopping to chat, I hope I helped answer your questions, if not, I am here!
Dit gaat echt veel te snel om iets te tonen wat je nog niet kent zoals lijnen met elkaar verbinden. Beetje jammer want je hebt echt een heel mooi voorbeeld van hoe je basic hiermee werkt.
So sorry if this video was too fast for you. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for watching and stopping to chat with me too. Happy Stamping!
Nope, nope, nope......that Cameo stuff is waaaaay over my head! BUT, I do agree about the white gel pen being my favorite part of card making toooo! Oh, and speaking of copic refills, we went to San Diego on Saturday and went to Dick Blicks! I had my list of a lot of copic refills I really need! And guess what? They had none! I was sooooo mad! I had told my husband and son to go walk around because me and my daughter would prob be an hour. They were shocked when I called after about 10 min and we were ready to leave 🥴🙄😡. Oh well, I got what I could from scrapbookpal!
Your cards are SNOW cute.
AHHHH, Thanks!!!! I am smiling SNOW big! Happy Stamping and happy 2021!
You are so talented with your coloring.
Thank you so much Lisa, that means a lot to me, as I still feel a bit new at it! Happy Stamping and TFW!
Just discovered you. Love these cards so much. Thank you.
So glad you found me and that you like these cards. Thanks for watching and taking time to chat with me. Happy Stamping! 😊💖
Cute cards! I am outside supervising my cat at the moment. I could use some hot chocolate.
That sounds like the perfect thing! I'll send some over! hehehe. Thanks for watching!
I love your cards! The snowmen are adorable!

These turned out super cute, Carrie! I love that I'm not the only one that uses their Cameo in card design! :)
I am glad I am not the only one too! What do you use yours for the most? Thanks for watching!
@@CarrieRhoades The same exact things that you were doing...sizing the images to fit onto a card front, making my own sentiments, etc. :)
Thank you, I love the white the best but the blue is cute too.
