What a wonderful trip you you brought us on! I love Venice and the artwork was so interesting. I loved the raindrops and the first artists paper collages best- they really transported me. Thank you.
This video is superb in every possible way. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful artists who are new to me. In addition, you audience truly got the sense on, blending the ancient and the modern, being a logical way to show the timelessness of art forms from all ages. This is particularly well highlighted in the stone + shadow floor sculpture (by Lee Ufan) opposing the Renaissance (?) fresco above in the high ceiling at 34:18. The technique at 12:18, by Rick Lowe, reminds me of the awe-struck feeling I had looking up in the star-littered night sky, while camping at Redwood National Park underneath those giants. HIs work gives me so much inspiration to finish my own interpretation of such unforgettable moment. Thank you for your boundless joy and happiness in sharing art with your audience.
Liu Wei's total deconstruction of what I believe I recognize as the Laocoön is simply stunning and certainly the best work on display in this video. I went to the Biennale this summer and only had time to see the pavillions and the Arsenale, so thank you for showing me what I unfortunately did not have time for!
The quality of the art, let alone the contexts and setting, belissimo. You are getting very good at this. Thank you. Venice after most of the tourists go home.
Well done. I totally enjoyed the art, architecture, and walkabout. Venice truly does have a special and beautiful vibe. Nice to be there and not be inundated with tourists. It would cool to have painting studio right on the Canal. My fantasy, lol.........
very beautifully presented. great photography and a nice slow rhythm unlike typical vids about venice. so mellow. really enjoyed this and the selection of art. thank you! and happy holidays!
Amazing tour of the sites. Three cheers to the camera guy😊😊😊 I remember Venice well. You guys got an amazing large hotel room in an amazing location. And during a world class art event. You must have connections.
jaw dropping location filming. i like that idea of drawing into base coat as in the mehretu works (please don't tell anyone i saw it in one of your videos first!). i will always be 'drawn' to figuration, so the genieve figgis paintings intrigued me. big ups for the stamina you displayed in this one.
Merci infiniment pour cette riche promenade à l encontre de ces grands peintres contemporains que nous aimons.Et puis votre gourmandise gustative est rayonnante.Vous nous avez offert un beau voyage.
It is really heartening to see that Venice is still...Venice...!! (at a time when so much of the world has changed and deteriorated) (I last visited and stayed in Venice in the 1990's)
YES, for me, Rick Lowe stands out and is marvelous .... so is Stirling Ruby's new work. The Urs Fisher droplets are fine in a decorative sense...tho' pales in comparison to Fred Wilson's much older dramatic rain of black Murillo glass droplets, which manages to expand metaphorically to reference tears....spermatozoa.....as well as the black presence in Venice over the centuries.. And kudos to your excellent companion ...the unnamed cameraman/woman. We appreciate you too...💥🔥🤎🔥💥
why dont you chat with the camera man, who is he or she... is just an employee or is he your friend, husband? are different camera men or just one? or you dont want to break your script? if he or she, knows about art, will be interesting if you talk to each other about the works of art or during the lunch time, talk about the food or the trip in general, dont you think so?
Not sure I'm convinced by the work of these international artists. The work, as a whole, is good, not great. Have we really fallen that far from Rothko and Twombly? I'd prefer to spend my time looking at the old masters and Venice itself.
One of your best post. So beautiful!. Contemporary art looks amazing. Nice to see contemporary work outside of a white box. Thanks
Venice is absolutely stunning. Thank you for making these videos. I love art museums.
Thank you for your very hard work and Merry Christmas and happy New Year🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
First & Feeling Grateful, Thank You for what you do and bringing the Arts to us!!!
It’s my pleasure, I’m glad you enjoy them!

Precisely and professionally photographed; unbelievably well done.

So good!! Thanks❤❤❤
Sunday clouds and cold and I'm seeing Sargent watercolors plus one Monet! An extraordinary Monet that is hung in Chicago. Namaste !
ふむふむ、壁に飾りたい絵を見つけました。素晴らしい動画のアップロードに感謝します。

Thank you! ❤
Que paz, nas cores das casas, nas paredes, nas obras de arte, nas músicas...paz resume tudo, ótimo conteúdo 👏🏻
grazie mille per Venezia!
Thank you!! 😍
Thank you, highlight for me was Genieve Figgis, Goya seemed to be a influence.

Your camera person needs a Union! Where is the credit?🤣
