  • This is the complete Steve Porcaro star licks instructional video. I bought this tape from japan (hence the subtitles) and ripped it myself, so its as good quality as i could get it. Because it's from japan, it's technically called "SUPER TECHNICAL APPROACH," but its the same thing as star licks.
    Lineage: VHS Hi-Fi SP - Sony SLV-760HF - Panasonic DMR-ES15 - Hauppauge! USB-Live 2 - VirtualDub as HuffyYUV - QTGMC - x264/aac - here

I’ll bet in Steve’s day he had to run, duck and hide from all of the Wimnin wanting him, just my attempt at humor.
On a more serious note, I really appreciate and admire the Profound talent and exceptional personalities of the Pacarro musical family to include the father Joe.
Mr. Pacarro was so helpful to each of his boys, Jeff, Mike and Steve.
All three boys were exposed to great music and enjoyed the remarkable talent of the men Joe kept company with especially as a much sought after sessions musician.
As very young men Joe saw to it all three sons got the instruments of their individual interest and assistance with them getting the music lessons needed.
During interviews I noticed Joe using the same cool phrases his sons used, like cool, hip, etc.
    Joe was an impressive man.
Sadly, Steve is the last man standing in a manner of speaking.
Out of all three brothers, Mike is the one I know least about.
I’ve seen a few videos of his performance but never of him personally, I wish I knew more about him as a human being, his personality.
    I really appreciate this post.
    Best wishes!
    Tom….
