If you look on the bottom of the saw you will see what looks like a tear drop of oil in the plastic or metal. That is where you access that oil adjustment screw for that bar oil. Mine is turned all the way up, and I use around a half of tank of oil, or a little more per tank of fuel.
Great vid, a bit of distraction at the beginning however solved my 044 oiler issues completely until I gave 1 and1/2 uggaduggas on the clutch and cracked two pads, FML 😂
Thank you! I should have advised not to use an impact as there are some very strong impacts these days. Mine is older and weak so I get away with many things I shouldn't.
@VPTfab Would you believe I scored a clutch kit for 20 bucks today? Letcha know if it all works out, no impact and yes it's a left handed thread! Wish me luck, 😆

My oil pump is pumping 10 times too much. The adjuster doesn’t stop it. This give me some good ideas to check out.
Hope you can figure it out.

Also won't use the impact gun on the clutch when the parts come in. You had me at AVE reference, you must be a fellow Kanuckistanian!

There is a arrow on the bottom of saw tells more oil or less oil
That screw is a oil adjuster
