Do you buff it, then reapply polish, then buff, then reapply?
Or do you apply layer, wait for it to dry, apply another layer, wait for it to dry etc etc?

@@newzealandverycool4358 both is fine honestly but I think that a bit of patients does a lot if you just apply a bunch of layers wait to dry then start polishing them

@@newzealandverycool4358clean, apply, buff, apply, buff, apply, buff. The idea is to build up layers of polish, the only way to do that is to polish in between layers.

I found the best way to bull a fresh pair of these is to cover the shoe in polish with your on brush and leave for five minutes then brush it all off with the off brush except the toe cap.
Get a cotton ball and dip it in water, then rub it in polish a little bit then dip it in the water again. Do small circles on the toe cap with the cotton ball for ten minutes dipping the cotton ball in water again every now and then. After that you should have a decent shine on your shoe.
Just keep putting on small layers every now and then and you'll soon have mirrors on your shoes.

@@mikewalrus4763 good way to do it, is to use the fire shine, load of polish then turn the shoe upside down use a lighter and it will burn the polish on (go easy with lighter) and then start bulling using water and polishing cloth.

@@vikingsmbMate that will ruin the shoes/boots, watch them crack if you try plus it's more harder to remove it later and it ruins the leather

If it takes you guys “6 hours” to achieve a mirror finish, you’re doing it wrong. You should be able to clean, strip, polish, and buff a boot to perfection in less than 30min. If it’s taking you that long you’re applying too much polish per layer, or aren’t using water.

Or for the Army lads who know what they're doing.
👉3000 grit sand paper full boot
👉Remove factory finish with 100% acetone or isopropyl alcohol.
👉Bees wax whole boot using hot air gun as you go.
👉Apply 2/3 layers. Leave each layer to dry for 20 mins.👉Next day boots are hardened.
👉black kiwi polish while boot and bull with sylvet. Repeat 5/6 times.
👉Use parade gloss to get thatglass mirror finish.
👉Before use, use nylon stockings to get a complete glass mirror finish.
    You're welcome 👌🏻
