Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I'm a boy of the 80s, so this song is a crucial part of my childhood. I am a huge fan of Heart all around - 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. - but these songs hold a special place in my heart (no pun intended). I don't generally enjoy "slowed-down" versions of popular rock songs, but this is beautiful. I saw Heart in 2010 and it has gone down as one of THE best live shows I've ever seen.

Except for Kelly Clarkson who came very close to killing it.

It should be noted that this was originally recorded by Holly Woods and Toronto a few years earlier but never released. There is a youtube posting of the unmastered recording for the curious. Loved Holly and the band back in the day and saw them many times. Heart was a favorite, never saw them, but bought many of their albums, as well.

And she does it so eloquently I might add plus this guitar solo is just butter lol…

Love this performance..... caught my first concert a couple years ago , sat front row and just let the music flow through me. Utterly amazed as one song blended to another . Her voice took me back to a time when I was a farm boy in the north . Am radio in the 70's was incredible but , nothing compared to the opening riff of barracuda and Ann belting perfection.

I was 15 years old when this song came out and i immediately became a fan of Heart... her voice is just so amazing and when she and Nancy performed "Stairway to Heaven" in front of Led Zepplin, I wasn't that surprised because I've always thought she had the voice to cover almost any LZ song...

Love the original aingle apart from the last minute or so when it goes off the boil in my eyes , instead of the anthemic ending it just fizzles away bit this version with Ann's raspy vocals and the bluey's ending is just fantastic in my ears anyway.
I don't think she's struggling. She has a lot of soul and passion now. Everything she's doing now has the quality of Mistral Wind. She is like a great blues singer.
