MY FAVOURITE ❤️ This is the movie I point people to watch if they doubt Elvis’ acting ability. This scene is so understated but so powerful at the same time. Elvis’ performance throughout the movie is full of integrity and I love how different his relationship is with the different characters. Glenn and Elvis melt my heart
Beautiful just beautiful. Now that's how you act a love scene, so understated yet so profound and powerful. Elvis acted his socks off in this movie, his character Glen, a multi dimensional and complex individual that he portrayed with totally believability no matter what the scene itself asked of him. When watching this movie I always see Elvis himself in many many ways, from the angst ridden, headstrong and carefree, to the sensible and level headed with sensuality and sensivity way beyond his years. It's such a travesty and tradegy how Elvis,s genuine acting talent and capability was thrown aside for money making frivolity, that neither fulfilled him nor his aspirations. Exploitation at its worst.. Fantastic scene Rick from a fantastic movie, thanks .
Oh my goodness this scene really hits for me. Its so innocent, they were afraid to be with one another even though the love is burning inside them. And Elvis was just amazing in this so pure and genuine. 💙
Such sweet and innocent love scenes, magical ❤️ He had so much acting talent, he let his heart lead him always. But he was a Rock and roll giant and it was all about record sales. Who knows, if he was ever given that big acting break we would have lost him to the movies ? Long live the King 👑 Thank you Rick for this gentle reminder 🥰 I have most of his movies on dvd, just waiting to link my recorder up to the telly, I can’t wait:) just got Frankie and Johnny ❤️🌹
Agree one of the most tender scenes in any movie with ELVIS, always told Lock The Door, how lucky were we to see such gentle LOVE. Thank you for your video. ❣💯💖🤗🎸👏👏🇦🇺🙋♀️
Well done and thank you for posting this. When I first saw this scene in the eary 1960s I was mesmerised. The gently unfolding interraction between these two accomplished actors is beautifully played and superbly directed. Also elevating this scene into brilliance is the subtle underscore provided by the great Kenyon Hopkins (he of The Hustler). What a shame Elvis' manager would not allow him to take proper dramatic roles in the years that followed. He probably only let Elvis do this movie because of the songs in it. Again, thank you.
Thank you Rick for this beautiful scenes so lovely romantic and tenderness ❤️Elvis playing as a great actor in this movie my favorite Wild in the country thank you too much 👌🎦🌹🇦🇹from Austria RIP Elvis 🙏 and God bless the other people's of the world give peace a chance still nowhere 🌎🌍I hope so 🌹🍀
Wow that was something to watch. If this movie was made in 2024 I am almost sure it would have gone the other way and Elvis would have scored (an Oscar).
wowwie wow wow!!!!! one of the most erotic love scenes I've ever seen and they didn't even undress! the way Elvis tightened his jaw was very emotional. My favorite part of all his movies.
He could do drama he could do romance, he could do comedy, he could do piffle, but they wouldn't let him grow his acting chops which were already a natural, innate talent. That's very painful when you're a true artist.
The same songwriters who wrote Can't Help Falling in Love, Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George Weiss, for the movie by the same name, Wild In the Country.
Possibly the most emotional scene in Elvis Presley's film career!!
Bellissimo film invidio Hope lange come ha fatto ha resistere a Elvis
