Fun fact. The leg muscles are sometimes called the second heart of the human body. The pressure they put on the bloodvessels while flexing helps push the blood back up the body. This is why regular walking is important especially if you sit a lot during your job.
I listened through this one again. Definitely entertaining. I feel like there is some serious potential for a sequel audio...perhaps the alien coming back for some graduate-level research, and being astonished at the amazing coincidence of selecting the exact same specimen as before?
This alien student sounds so very confused by the details of human physiology...and quite frankly, humans are put together so very badly. There are so many things we could do better if we started designing from the ground up, instead of just happening to have a bunch of random traits that proved useful and a bunch of other traits that weren't too much of an impediment to survival... On a technical note...I love the sound of the alien character's voice. What editing effects did you use in creating the voice?
@@Ambiguous_ASMR Oh, neat! I love using Audacity. I've done that before with a few of the character voices in my own work...once with nine different layers to the voice (that was a minor nightmare to tweak and get to come out right)... Were there any other effects used? It sounds almost like there was a voice phaser effect in use...or is that just a result of the stacked layers of dialogue?
@@ADragonSpeaks I made this a while ago so I don't fully remember but another effect I commonly used back when I was using audacity was reverb?? nowadays I use adobe audition
@@Ambiguous_ASMR Reverb definitely has its uses... One effect you might find interesting (but perhaps limited in the type of character voices that could benefit from it) is taking the entire finished vocal track for a script, and reversing it. After it's been reversed, add a moderate reverb effect, then reverse it again (so it's playing forward) and add the same reverb effect. What you get with that is basically a buildup effect before each spoken word...depending on how you tinker with it, it can add a lot of power and majesty to a voice...or just make it sound dark and creepy and menacing.

And no slicey dicey. I hate sharp objects. If you try to cut me open while I'm asleep, there's a 50/50 chance that I might freak out and knock the scaple out of your hand.

I had 2 or 3 layers of the dialogue playing simultaneously but at different pitches using audacity
