    for the distance to go it is the same time as to take them one by one. except that in one of the two ways there is a high risk of damage to the goods, in addition to the risk of knocking over someone who walks on the doc.

      @Statimtek 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@panther7584 “It handles materials by bulldozing……” that was the point of my comment, a forklift driver should never bulldoze (push loads against other loads like in the video) with a forklift, it damages loads, and pallets, and increases the chance of knocking stacks over. Do the job right the first time by putting the pallets in against the pallet in front so you don’t have to push them in. Bulldozing is just lazy.

      Trust me, I'm guilty to this behaviour as well, but there are a few differences: I only do this with 1 extra pallet between me and the pallet to be moved. I only do this for tenths of centimeters, not the huge distance this guy is doing. I only do this with loads I trust. If I don't trust the load, I don't do it. I only do this when I can oversee the loads or have checked the surroundings first.
      And the most important one: I only do this on the smooth surface inside, never ever will I think about doing this on average paved surfaces. You only need 1 out-of-the-ordinary piece of material on the surface to catch a pallet. The pallet usually breaks and usually things tip over after such an incident.
      Glad I'm not working in such environments and I've got more time on my hands.

    Jesus Christ!
    1: Never travel with the forks at eye level.
    2: If you're pushing/lifting a load and there are areas of the workplace close to you, not visible to you where personnel could walk from, use a banksman. Or at the very least, Sound a horn if you're about to interact with/enter that area.
    That's absolutely shocking, DPD as well..
    They we're my guys they'd be on their final warning by now.

    I have loaded trucks for over ten years and I don't see anything unusual except for the lift having to dodge trucks which seems like a poor setup.

    LOS MONTACARGAS CUALQUIERA QUE SEA:
    ¡ NO SON PARA EMPUJAR LA CARGA ¡

    NUNCA PARA EMPUJAR.

    Irresponsible and a liability. Most of the places that allow that kind of unsafe working ways are managed by mediocre managers and the staff carries the fault when something goes wrong

    Shunting pallets like these clowns is a no-no, not only does it damage freight, but the pallets there on which are normally hired plus the fact that their wearing out the ground their working on plus health and safety issues everywhere 😂

    OK if you are actually pushing on the pallet. Otherwise you may be crushing product in the packages as it is forced to transfer the load.

    That's illegal. Drive forklift at walking speed. N keep forks atleast four inches off the ground
